Vanitas and Noé

Blood Drinking

"Noé...we have been partners for a while now...I think it's time..."

"Time for what?" Noé asks

"For you to drink my blood...you can break my hypnotism seems like it won't work anymore when I know it's you plus you knowing everything is essential for our upcoming battle...if there still is a me and you after you saw and know everything..."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I don't have a choice or we can't fight last time I left you out we both almost died so I prefer to not let that happen again you know"

And Vanitas steps closer to Noé bows down to stare at Noé who is sitting on his bed

"Fine Let's do it then. Come here sit down next to me will you?"

As requested Vanitas sat down next to him and made space on his neck for Noé

"Noé everything you see now...don't tell it to anyone ok?"

"You know I would never...it goes against my principles but honestly even if it wouldn't I still would never tell anyone. I know how hard it is for you and I know secrets linger within your memories secrets that can't be stolen or it will end up badly for you...knowing all this how could I possibly spill any of it...that would be worse than betrayal wouldn't it?"

"Talkative much huh? But to be honest nothing you just said is wrong so I can't actually complain...and yes it would be worse than betrayal."

Noé leans down and brushes Vanitas neck. He felt Vanitas pulse going faster and faster

"Noé just-"

But he was cut off the moment Noé sank his fangs into his neck

Noé heard a gasp escape Vanitas mouth as he was dragged into his memories

It was an endless rush and amount of just misery. Starting with his recent memories that were actually pleasant compared to what was coming then...everything before they met was an endless misery. Noé faced the day Vanitas family was killed by Vampires it was miserable Vanitas left out so much of it. That was no ordinary death. Then Moreaus experiments and when he met number 71 all the times he has been sliced open and put together again...Then all the secrets bout the Vampire of the blue moon and why it was so important for Vanitas to never tell anyone. It was basically how people can destroy him if they would know about it that would be surprisingly easy for all his enemies and then the miserable moment Luna was consumed and Vanitas had to kill the Vampire of the blue moon losing his family once more. The reason for his revenge...

Noé pulled away

To his surprise he couldn't even cry simply in shock of what he just saw. He just sat there

"So Noé...what is your answer is there still a me and you" Vanitas asks voice wobbly and tears rolling down his face...the thought bout his own memories was quite unpleasant he has to admit

But Noé just stood up and left the room

"Noé? Where are you going? Hey!?"

So that means no I guess Vanitas thought...well I know I'm a monster even worse than any Vampire...my existence should not be possible it's simply disgusting...it's still surprising Noé left without saying a word but to be honest it's even more surprising he stayed until now...And yet why does it hurt so much

"I will never set you free"

Vanitas layed down and started crying heavier until he was simply screaming

That's when the door opened

Vanitas hid his face but still turned around to see who it was

"Noé?"

"Mmhhmm?"

"I thought you left...?"

"I heard you crying and screaming so miserably I turned around and walked back"

"Oh..."

"I never meant to leave forever anyways. It was just so overwhelming that I wasn't even thinking clearly when I left. I'm sorry for that" Noé says

"I would have understood it. It hurts but it's understandable...I mean I'm a...-"

"You are a what?"

"You saw it...a monster...that's all I am...simply disgusting...yet you said you will never set me free...I thought you broke your promise so I simply...I broke down ok...hahaha so funny that I did...ugh same stupid feeling as when we were at the amusement park but even worse..."

Noé came closer, sat down right next to Vanitas and put his hand on Vanitas hand which was still trembling miserably

"I won't leave...there still is a me and you"

Vanitas turned around to face him eyes widening

"You aren't a monster...you are a human...you breathe like every other person...you have feelings even tho most of the times you lock them away for your own sake...yes you are different to others but that doesn't make you a monster...tell me could a monster cry like this because they thought they lost his partner?" Noé asks

"I hate words of comfort you know but I have to admit I didn't give u any other choice..." Vanitas says looking away

"I know you do but we all need to hear that from time to time...now I will shut up don't worry"

Vanitas squishes Noés hand tighter to force him to look at him...

Noé tries to say something but before he could Vanitas pulls him in for a hug

Noé just stares blankly until he realized what was happening and hugged him back

"Thank you"

"Huh?"

"For staying, for keeping your promises"

Noe hugs him tighter as a response
