Vanitas and Noé

Meet all over again

"Noé!!! No!"

It was that day Noé died.

Vanitas could just stare in shock. He was the one who should die. So why...still in shock and due to mental and physical wounds he fell unconscious.

One month later...

Vanitas was sitting on the roof like he usually does. After a while he chose to take a walk. He went into the room and downstairs. He was walking through Paris when suddenly a curse bearer attacked him. He was all alone and that curse bearer was way too fast, he couldn't react. So he fell to the ground accepting his faith. When suddenly someone picked him up and saved him. They landed on a rooftop nearby.

"Oh wow I haven't been with you for a month and the first thing I have to do is saving your life...I guess some things will never change...Vanitas"

Vanitas slowly opened his eyes to look at his survivor.

"You know me? But who are you? You are another one of these Vampires aren't you? Leave me alone go away. GO AWAY" Vanitas screams

"Hold on Vanitas I'm not gonna hurt you! You know that or at least you should know that...you really don't remember me...have you lost your memories?" Noé says with a sad tone

"I told you to go away! It's non of your business anyways"  Vanitas hisses

"Calm down! I probably know more about you than anyone else. Seems like you only lost the memories from the last few months...So u still know who you are and what happened in ur past...ask me anything!"

"You won't shut up and leave anyways before I do it...ummm what happened down there..." Vanitas says voice wobbly

"Down there? Ah you mean the catacombs. Doctor Moreau happened down there...I don't wanna go to deep into this I know it's hard..."

"If you know that we must have known each other..."

"We do...last time we saw each other we were fighting against a curse bearer...and well I died during the fight...seems like you lost your memories after that...I don't know why or how though"

"Well can you tell me your name?"

"Oh I forgot to introduce myself...my name is Noé. it's nice  to see you again...Well to meet you..." Noé says

"Hold on a second did you just say...you died...?" Vanitas stares

"Yeah but I came back...it was complicated...listen long story short...the curse bearer killed me and I got dragged into the world formula the wrong way and disappeared...died...but I found a way to come back to you...to help you...cause I know it's not over yet and you would need a partner...anyways I didn't know you wouldn't remember me...what happened?"

Vanitas looked down

"I don't know what happened...they found me unconscious...when I woke up I couldn't remember anything of the last months...I guess all those physical wounds and then seeing my partner...you...die made me fall unconscious and cause I suffered so much already my brain protected me and that's why I suffer memory loss now..."

"Yeah most likely it was like that..."

"You said you came back to help me...what happened"

"Mikhail...and my teacher are causing big trouble"

Vanitas stares "Mikhail...?"

"Yes...but I'm with you if you want..."

"If I would remember then maybe..."

"I know you would cause we already agreed to that...you said you accept that I'm not doing what you want me to do...you apologized...and you said at the end of this all if you turn into a monster you want me to be the one to kill you...even though that will be really hard for me...but I wanna stay with you to the end to fulfill my promise Vanitas"

"I would never allow a vampire to kill me."

"Because your parents died cause of vampires..."

"Just...just who are you?"

"I already told you...I'm not that vampire...I'm Noé...please remember that from now on!"

"Leave me alone...ok I don't remember you..." Vanitas turned around and ran away

"But I already told you I WILL NEVER SET YOU "FREE" VANITAS" Noé screams

Suddenly Vanitas stops running...he slowly turns around...tears rolling down his face...

"Vanitas?"

"Noé."

Noé could just stare

"Noé I remember...I remember"

"You do?"

"Yes I remember...thank you for coming back even after what happened last month...Your question...you asked if I want u to stay...usually no but now that I remember...I insist...stay! Help me against all this mess please!"

Noé stepped forward and reached out a hand towards Vanitas

"Vanitas..."

"Hm?"

Vanitas smiled and grabbed on to his hand really tight...testing if Noé is really back

"But before we go let's finish that curse bearer down there...shall we?" Noé said

Vanitas smiled "Very well my dear Noé...let's go for it once again"

And they jumped down the roof approaching their target
