Axel:

Tallie had caught up with him 2 mins later. She was red in the face and out of breath. She was smiling it made Axel's chest curl with nerves and excitement. She looked pretty.

"Hey what you gawking at?" Her voice was sharp like a needle yet velvety.

"n n nothing umm come on we have a job to do no time for your bleeding boy friend over there."

"I i  we umm look SHUT UP we have to go come one." Her voice was high pitched and squalling it made Axe giggle with hysteric laughter. The best he had felt in weeks.

They followed the ghostly path though the village. Not a sound. just the humming of the air's heart beating. It was cold and felt desolate, empty houses echoed though the city telling stories of happy families. these stories hummed in the air. No more then atoms dancing though the atmosphere, tripping though grass and racing energetically though brains of travellers for decades to come. It smelt of fire that made Axe angry, his hands burned and the aroma singed his coal nose. A grand wall echoed towards them shouting less and less as each hesitant step they took, towards the demonic green shaded wall that seemed like it was falling on the seemly ant like town.

And compared to the wall of the castle. Axel and Talllie were no more than a grains of sand.
