Tallie:

They had left the camp a week ago and started heading through a small own off the coast of Tokenburg heading for the sea to take them to Thomnum.

It was early afternoon. Axel and Zeke had been childishly bickering over something so iridescent Tallie didn't bother remember it. However the sun was shooting her dancers down from their home to slide along Tallies skin making her sweat burn her tomato shaded flesh. Her thigh was itchy and swollen and each time Tallie forcefully brought her rough nails over the scab it became more hot, more sweaty, more itchy as the sun danced on Tallie's skin.

"Oh my god just shut up." Axel's shout brought Tallie back to her nightmarish present.

"Just shut up the both of you, you will be saying oh my god to the leader of Thomnum if we don't get a move on." She huffed.

Silence. Finally.

It was one of the first times Tallie had spoken since Satine. And relief washed over her.

"I'm thirsty." She walked of to the nearest water tap, smiling, she knew the two boys would be gaping at her exit.

Tallie went to the tap and smoothly gaped down the fresh relief, feeling it wash her mouth and slide down her thought. The coolness of the liquid allowing her to shiver with cold delight.

"Mornin." A soft voice sort of echoed behind her. Tallie felt hot again.

She turned seeing a girl no more then her age smiling at Tallie. She noticed how the girl's curly blond hair bounced freely of her upper back like she had been skipping. Her eyes were brown with a hint of emerald green circling the rim of the girl's atmospheric black pupil. Her smile radiated of her photogenic face.

"M m morning." The girl walked past Tallie brushing her on the shoulder as she walked.

Tallie was more sticky and sweaty then how she had started.

"What in the world just happened." Tallie thought to herself as she walked, slowly away.
