"he's ... perfect," I said, as I held him in my arms.

it's true, he is.

"can I hold him?"

"it's not good for you, take a rest. I'll watch him."

that's when I knew, we had a connection.

**

"I'll pick Jinnie up from school," Jungkook said, as he gave a small smile. "Ok, I'll get lunch started," Hae-Chun said as she bid her goodbyes to her husband.

After getting into the car and cranking it up, Jungkook drove Jin to school. Jungkook's entire world revolved around Jin.

The moment he arrived at the school, he did not want Jin to be alone outside by himself. Thus, he requested the principal to allow Jin to wait in the office until he arrived.

He signed Jin out of school. Jin came running over to him with arms wide open after he did so.

"hi papa!" jin spoke, causing his dad to coo at the sentence. "hi, jinnie bear." jungkook said, as he embraced the child with his warmth.

During the car ride, Jin fell asleep. Since he was focused on the road, Jungkook didn't notice. He unbuckled Jin's seatbelt as soon as he pulled into the driveway.

He gently held the child and rested him on his shoulder. As he walked inside, he unlocked the door with his free hand.

"Jungkook, you don't need to baby him so much," Hae-Chun whispered to him softly. "Please shut up, Hae-Chun," Jungkook demanded.

He walked upstairs and entered the blue room, with alpaca-themed wallpaper.

Jin's jacket and shoes were taken off by Jungkook, and he was placed in bed. Since Jin dislikes the dark, he tucked Jin under the blankets and turned on the lamp.

He pecked Seokjin's lips and shut off the light switch. He went back downstairs to eat his lunch. "How was the ride?" Hae-Chun suddenly asked, which caused jungkook to glare at her.

"Don't pretend as if you care." Jungkook sternly said. "Jungkook, that happened 4 years ago, I don't wanna give him up for adoption now." Hae-Chun rolled her eyes.

"It's sad that you're jealous of your own child."

"No one is jealous of Seokjin. Why would I be jealous of him? All I said was you need to stop babying him, you kiss him, you hug him, and you drop everything for him."

"So? He's a kid, Hae-Chun. My kid, that I did not agree on having."

He hated her; she annoys him. His hatred only grew worse towards her, day by day.

He had to pretend to be happy with her, for Jin's sake.

"Are you still on the sperm thing? That happened so long ago, you're so stuck in the fucking past."

"Excuse me? You injected yourself with my sperm to have a kid because I didn't want to have sex with you. You're one crazy bitch."

"I will not take such disrespect from you."

Jungkook got up from his chair and went upstairs, he walked into Jin's room and woke him up. 

He waited for Jin to finish his bath, so he could eat. Once he cleaned the bathroom behind himself. He carried Seokjin downstairs.

"Jungkook put him down, he can walk."

"Mind your business please."

"Do you want bulgogi?" Jungkook asked, Jin replied by shaking his head no.

Jin rubbed at his eyes; he was still a bit sleepy.

"Then I'll make you some ramyeon, ok?"

Jin smiled, and Hae-Chun was obviously upset. "Why can't he just eat the bulgogi? I spent a lot of time preparing it."

"He doesn't want to eat it, Hae-Chun."

"Whatever." She went back to reading.

"You can watch TV while I make your food, ok?" Jungkook smiled at him. Jin reached his hands up, and Jungkook picked him up and carried him into the living room.

Hae-Chun sat there in disbelief.

"Are you finished eating?" Jungkook asked as he wiped down the counter. 

"Yep!" Jin giggled. "You have to get ready for bed, so can you go brush your teeth?" Jungkook spoke as he picked Jin up and started tickling him.

Jin's little giggles gave him happiness.

 After his shower, he went to check on Seokjin. He found him watching cartoons, "You should be sleeping."

Jin was caught off-guard and tried to fake sleep, not realizing his dad already saw him.

"Just one more episode please" Jin pleaded, pouting his lips. Jungkook gave in easily.

"Can you sleep here tonight?"

Jungkook nodded, he got into Jin's bed and they both drifted off to sleep.

Hae-Chun got up from their bed, looking for Jungkook. The first place she checked was Jin's room.

Jin was laying on Jungkook's chest, with his arms around Jungkook's neck. Hae-Chun's mouth hung agape.

She's getting sick of this.

Hae-Chun woke up earlier than Jungkook, she went downstairs and decided to make her special pancakes, but later then gave up because she was not in the mood to cook.

Jungkook had about 4 meetings today, and he needed energy, He changed into his work clothes and went downstairs to get coffee.

He sighed in frustration when he saw no food on the table. He got the ingredients and made pancakes for Seokjin.

Jin woke up minutes later, he brushed his teeth and washed his face.

His clothes were set out for him to wear to school.

Jin looked all around the house for his dad, he walked into Hae-Chun's and Jungkook's shared bedroom.

"Eomma?" He looked at her confused, "You know you're not allowed in here! Get out!" She yelled.

Jin pouted his lips and his eyes started to get misty. "I'm sorry."

"Whatever."

Jin walked downstairs, eyes on the ground. "Jinnie, hurry up and eat, we're behind schedule."

Jin nodded and quickly ate the pancakes, Jungkook handed him his lunch box and they left the house.

Jungkook found it odd since Jin wasn't speaking much.

Once Jungkook arrived at the school, Jin gave him a kiss and he bid his goodbyes. Driving to his building he tilted his head in confusion, Jin was usually a happy and talkative person.

"If Jungkook finds out we're doing this, he's going to hate me." Hae-Chun kissed his lips to shut him up.

"He won't find out, just relax."
