Delphi found stupid, brave, reckless, stupid Asteria standing in the familar battle stance, dusted in yellow power. Her eyes fell on the bronze blade, making her halt in rushing to confront the Gryffindor.

'I've seen this before'

Asteria was expecting questions and exasperation, but not the extraordinary statement that made her hardened face melt in confusion. Before an inquirer escaped her own lips, they heard a...

'Snarl' Delphi said just at the right time when the sound rang out.

She didn't waver nor move, just staring expectantly at the huddle of trees.Asteria stiffened and prepared to run but before she could, a dog approached.A humongous dog with black fur and glowing red eyes.Someone was mounted on the beast and Delphi saw Asteria inhale a sharp breath ,recognition evident on her expression.

'It's you, you were the one who brought me to London'

Under the moonlight the stranger was beautiful and breathtakingly so, with fiery red hair and lush green eyes. She nodded.

'Asteria Foxglove, your place in the coming war has begun'

'What war?' Delphi interrupted.

The girl faced Delphi. 'The seer's granddaughter, Delphi is it?'

'How did yo-'

But she returned to converse with Asteria.

'This summer you shall take Ben' she gestured to the dog, wasting no time to do something as silly as attempting to make sense 'To Camp Half Blood and start your training, it will be a hard journey but if you do make it across the border, they can't deny your place in Hermes Cabin'

'Camp Half Blood?' Asteria asked 'Who are you?'

'I am Dora.Hecate is my mistress, I have been sent on her part'' the girl said. Then she climbed off with a thud of metal and Delphi saw one of her legs was made of bronze while the other was furry like a goat's.

From her robes, she drew a letter, addressed to Asteria Foxglove in still drying ink.

Asteria, though hesitant and stiff in her stance, took it.

Dora turned to Delphi who felt a chill race down her spine.

'You will play an important part in shaping the future, your sight is most convenient, remember that Asteria Foxglove'

She returned back on the hellhound, Ben as she had called him and the two dissolved into shadows as suddenly as they had materialized.

Asteria was shaking, Delphi noticed her robe holding a lumpy fang like silhouette in the inside pocket. She was clutching the envelope and a silence had fallen only filled by a chilling gust of wind.

'We have to return to the castle,' Asteria said abruptly.Delph nodded.

'The big dipper's handle tip' she pointed out 'is the north star so Hogwarts is that way'

The two walked solemnly quiet out of the woods and Delphi's shoulders fell in relief at the sight of the castle. If possible it was even more beautiful in sunrise than it had been during their first view.Brillant golden light traced the towers ,while fading stars still serenaded the collision of warm colours like the rising of a phoenix.

Before they separated for their common rooms Delphi stopped and faced Asteria.

'I know you realize more than you lead on so tell me, tell me at two p.m besides the great lake'

Asteria took a moment to think then nodded.

Delphi felt weary and lightheaded and was thankful that it was a sunday after all and she could squeeze a few hours of sleep.

'Where have you been?' asked a curious Pandora who was just getting ready for breakfast.

'I sleep walked too far and woke up around Hagrid's hut' Delphi said, sleepily unable to come up with a better explanation but Pandora looked convinced.

'It was a good thing you were wearing shoes then, I think i'll try that'
