Prologue
A dense haze clung to the room, swirling like smoke around a flame. The sharp scent of weed lingered in the air, intertwined with the rich blend of perfumes and colognes that masked nearly every other smell. Through the intoxicating fog, I could barely make out a pair of red loc-covered eyes trained on me from across the room, their gaze intense and unwavering, sending a shiver down my spine.I think it was those captivating, obsidian eyes that drew me in, like a secret whispered in the dark. He was the kind of man you couldn't forget—an 'acquired taste', as some might say, but one that lingered long after the first encounter.
"Partynextdoor's 'For Certain' poured from the speakers, its rhythmic, sensual beats transforming the room's atmosphere. Without thinking, I mouthed along with the chorus, my lips moving in sync with the lyrics. As our eyes locked, I began to sway my hips slowly, back and forth, feeling the music pulse through me.
"So, I-I-I, pure desire
So heart racin', entire body sayin', "Ah-ooh-ah"His intense gaze locked onto me—raw and unfiltered, setting a fire in my veins that sparked an electric pulse between my legs.
"For you, for certain
Search, I been searchin'
Woah, woah, ah
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you"The liquid courage had me all the way lit.
Without it, I'd probably be losing my shit, but no way was I backing down now.
He took another slow drag from the blunt, his intense gaze locked on me as he moved closer. Each step he took charged the air between us.
I watched, entranced, as his tongue teasingly brushed his bottom lip, igniting a fierce desire within me to erase the space between us. I longed to explore those lips with mine, and wander even further, exploring the places I'd often let my mind linger.
Oh, the countless times I'd fantasized about those very places.
