All Eyes on Us"I'ma just kick somethin' player
You know what I'm sayin'?"
The whole venue was on fire tonight, straight electric.
You could feel it in the air—like everybody knew something big was about to go down. The crowd was wildin', jumping, shoutin', like they knew I had somethin' up my sleeve. And I did. Jade was out there somewhere, and she had no clue what was comin'.
I'd been thinkin' on this for a minute, gettin' ready to ask her to be mine for real. I had the promise ring in my pocket, burnin' a hole, and the high from bein' on stage was hittin' hard. But tonight? Tonight was different. This was about to be one of those moments that hits top five for real.
The music was poundin', bass so heavy I felt it in my chest, but I signaled to the sound guy to cut it off. Crowd went quiet, waiting, all eyes on me. This was it.
"Aye, aye, hold up," I said, pacing across the stage, lookin' out into the crowd. "I gotta get somethin' off my chest. Y'all gotta know about this special someone... about my lady."
The crowd went nuts, clappin' and shoutin' like they already knew who I was talkin' about. They probably did, 'cause I ain't exactly been low-key about her, but tonight? Tonight I was makin' it official.
I spotted her, off to the side, her eyes locked on me with this look—half surprised, half confused. I could tell she wasn't expectin' this. That's what made it perfect.
"Yeah," I said into the mic, grinnin' like a fool. "A nigga been on cloud nine for a minute, for real. And it's 'cause of her."
The crowd kept wildin', but all I could see was Jade. I pulled the ring out of my pocket, lettin' it catch the light, glintin' for everybody to see. I held it up, pointin' right at her.
"This? This right here is for her. For the one who saw me when nobody else did. J, baby, you ridin' with me?"
I jumped off the stage, pushin' through the crowd till I got to her. I held the ring out, my heart beatin' like I was back on 14th, doin' some wild shit. But this? This was the best kinda wild.
Jade just stood there for a second, frozen, eyes wide as she looked down at the ring. Then, she slid it on, and the crowd went crazy all over again. I didn't care about any of that. All I saw was her, that smile that had me from day one.
I jumped back on stage, that high hittin' me ten times over. I grabbed the mic, nodded to the DJ. "This one's for her," I said, as the beat for Without You dropped, the melody hittin' the crowd. "Drop that shit."
[Song Performance: Without You]
Lyrics poured out, every word for her, feelin' the weight of what I was sayin'. This wasn't just a performance; it was a confession. Jade was still in the crowd, but I locked in on her like it was just us. The crowd fed off that energy, and I was givin' them everything.
