I was enjoying the view from the window, when the door open suddenly I didn't look who come: "what's the matter?", I heard foot steeps before the visitor said: "well, well, how is it your living place, it's too fancy, isn't it", when I realized whose voice, blood freeze in my vein, I've turned my head to see... Silco, he's visiting me, in the hospital, how did he even enter?

I couldn't continue when Silco put more wait on my chest, specifically my broken rib and said with a serious tone: "listen Y/N, there is no way you don't know how you came her, you're as my son so don't try to hide something from me", I hold myself from shouting and said with a trembling voice: "okay...okay I will tell, g..give me a chance, few days ago I..I meet a girl from Piltover and we became friends, she is an enforce so when the accident accrued she was there and tried her best to avoid me from entering the prison" I was looking directly to him and breathing hard because of pain, he said: "And?", "she asked me about you to give her your name" Silco get closer: "and what did you say?", "I was about to tell her but then I choose not to I will never ever betray you dad" he stared at me for a moment before taking his hand of giving me a chance to take a deep breath: "I can see, you're not lying" he put his hand on my shoulder and continue: "am proud of you, I was sure you didn't disappoint me SON", he looked at me with small smile on his face, he rarely smile, I smile back, not before seeing him take something from his coat and put it next to my bed when I saw it the surprise covered my face, It was two bottles of Shimmer, I look at him wondering what does he mean, he said while turning to the window: "we need you to return back soon, I can't handle the job by myself" he looked at me by side of his face: "with this Shimmer am sure it will cure you soon, don't worry it's a light version", I looked at it and I wasn't sure from taking it but something inside me push me toward holding it and nod with my face to accept it, Silco then hold my head and rise it to face him: "listen Y/N, am not sure what happened between you two, but don't let her change your mind, LOVE is just a lie that human create it, you're perfect like this" I stared at him without any emotion on my face or respond, after that he left immediately while I'm thinking about what does he said. 

a lot of time pass while I'm laying on the bed, sun get down and the hospital covered in silence, the view of the city was amazing with small lights from each home and street is shining like a golden line, I was looking at it with a storm in my brain, "does it really worth to love Cait? do I deserve someone like her? my life was good everything is normal what's change after knowing her? what is this feeling? happens, sad, pain, love? am not sure" my eyes fell on Shimmer, I know what I have to do but I didn't have the enough courage to do it, I carried one of them, open it and carry it closer to my lips, sound of Silco pushing me to do it, while Cait trying to stop me, I felt weak and tired, let me just finish it, I took a sip then drink the whole bottle feeling it burn transfer through my throat down to my stomach my heart beat rise and my breath rate too, a tear run on my cheek, the feel of pain and shame, the feel of betraying Cait and pleasure my dad, they're fighting inside my head.

next morning, the sunlight hit my eyes forcing me to wake up, I wake up returning back from the dreams world, a lot of dreams, but most of them were nightmares, I was covered by cold wet with a slight headache, is it a side effect of Shimmer? I heard knocking on the door before a nurse enter to take samples of blood, I didn't give her a lot of attention, not before she started taking the blood, when I saw it color turned into slight purple and I realize that I may be in trouble, the nurse couldn't hide it shock but she didn't say anything she just finished fastly and took the samples to leave the room, "Wait" I told her to stop before leaving, she turned a little bit to see what I want: "lestin, can you please...don't tell anyone about this, Okay?", she kept silent without any respond, "Please, it better fore both of us", she just said: "sir, it's unhealthy for you to use it" and left immediately, "I am totally aware of that". time pass by, after a few hours Caitlyn enter the room pushing a table in front of her: "time for breakfast". I smiled for her and said: "am not used to eat breakfast", "now you will" She put it next to my bed and take the cover from it, It was fried egg with smash potato and some toast next to it with a cup of orange juice, I looked at it without any desire to eat even it smell was amazing but still, I was in no mood for that, but Cait was serious about making sure that I will eat my meal, I had no choice so I start eating slowly as a child and Cait was holding herself from laughing. "Finally, you done" Cait said that while taking the dishes and handling it to the nurse, "you have to make sure about your eating habits, breakfast is an important meal" I said with a smirk: "okay mum, I will", she hit me on my chest causing a slight pain: "shat up, aren't you used to say thank you", "thanks, I really appreciate your... Kindness".

when I wake up it was the middle of day but this time Cait was sitting next to me and she look worry while a doctor was standing on the other side and examine my chest, "fortunately, he is fine, I can't believe my eyes but that what I can see, so he can leave right know if he want" the doctor said to Caitlyn then he leave, I took the cover from me cause I felt hot and when I touched my ribs I didn't feel any pain, just like normal. Cait told me: "all of doctors don't believe how did you repair that fast" she get closer and asked with quit voice: "you sure you didn't take anything? you know, Shimmer or anything else", I smiled to her and said: "Cait how could I get anything of that", "I don't know" she said that while thinking in something else but then she return to her normal way and said: "know let's go", "to where?", She said while collecting stuff in a bag: "to my house", "wait, what?!" I asked stupidly and didn't realize what she just said, "to my house, there you can find a big library so you can know whatever you want about the hex, and from there we can go to the celebrate", "you want me to enter a Kirmans' house!?"
