Extra Terrestrial

Chapter 7

My parents lead me into the living room. They never turned to tv on anymore, so I wouldn't start to scream again. I had made it home safely last night and snuck into bed like usual.

"Honey, we have exciting news to tell you! We enrolled you in school!", mom exclaimed.

"School? I don't need school. I'm already super smart. You've been teaching me, why can't you continue to? If I go to school, kids will ask me a million questions and I don't want to answer them!", I replied.

"No, dear! It will be alright! You will love it! You can make new friends!", mom explained.

"Well I don't want new friends.", I said as I stormed off.

I decided to 'sleep' on the couch that night. Who did my parents think they were, putting me in school? I didn't want to learn stuff I already knew! I didn't want new friends. I wanted to learn to fight, for what ever reason the aliens wanted me to. It just seemed so exciting! Better than the boring days with my parents. My mom took me shopping earlier today, and it was the only fun thing to happen in a while. But yet, the nightmares still came when I napped during the day. Why was I so glad to be around the aliens now? I used to be scared of them, and I sort of still am. It must be because in my nightmares, they are scaley and green. But when I see them now, they are human. I'm not sure.

I tiptoed upstairs and cracked my parents' bedroom door. They were snoring quietly.

Suddenly though, I had a burst of energy. I ran outside, and sprinted around the house a couple times. Then I collapsed onto the ground in a heap. What was that?

Side effects are sudden bursts of energy, so watch out!

I remembered what Porg had said. Did that mean the pill was taking effect? Was I becoming stronger? I decided to find out. I walked over to the bird bath we had in our front yard. I grabbed the bottom, and pulled.

It lifted easily, like a feather.

Yes!

I ran as fast as I could to the clearing. The ramp appeared and I climbed up it.

"The pill worked! I'm strong!!!!", I exclaimed.

"Yes, I know.", Porg answered. Master Froie was beside him.

"Well, can I train now?", I asked.

"Only for a little while. You should be advancing to mind control soon.", Porg explained.

"What happened to levitation?", I questioned.

"Mind control is more important then that. You will learn the basics of levitation, at the end. Our plan needs to be carried out sooner than we thought."

"What for?"

"Some.... people might know we are here. Our ship releases different frequencies, and they have picked them up."

"Oh.", was all I said.

I looked around then walked towards the training room. Kale was there, waiting for me.

¬Aliens' POV¬

They watched as Elizabeth went to go train.

"She has no idea how much we can control her, does she?", Master Froie asked.

Porg shook his head. "She thinks it's because we look human. Not because we are telling her mind that she wants to be near us."

"Excellent. When will we tell her the plan?"

"Probably in a couple days, or maybe when she leaves tonight. But soon."

"Are you going to teach her mind control?"
