Chapter 12 : The Time Stone

The Time Stone is found on Planet Piercite. To retrieve the Time Stone, you must posses humbleness. The Time Stone was retrieved successfully by one man, but got corrupted with power and greed, causing the Time Stone to reject the owner and return to its original place on Planet Piercite. Others have tried and failed, much like the Soul Stone. This is the 2nd Stone of the Mythical Stones, and even more powerful than the Soul Stone. It is said to be given the power of slowing time, speed up time, and stop time completely. If used to the maximum of its abilities, the stone can open portals to different dimensions of the past, but wrong usage it can be used to rip the very seams of the universe apart.

Percy snapped the book shut and closed his eyes. He then mist travelled over to the Planet Piercite.

Percy POV

Just like the Planet Solancëgo, I was standing before another gateway. But instead of a bronze gateway, the gateway was silver. I pushed open the gates and slipped inside.

What stood in front of me made my mouth drop open in shock.

The cobblestone path led up to a mountain that was 1000x higher than Mount Everest. And I saw a plague at the foot of the mountain. It read:

This is the mountain of humbleness.

Scale the mountain

And what you desire lies at the top.

So I unfurled my wings and began to scale the mountain.

ON OLYMPUS

Everyone except the Greeks were situated in front of a beautiful shroud.

It was a royal blue, rippling with other shades of ocean blue like the sea on a beautiful day. Imprinted on the shroud was a beautiful majestic black pegasus, and a sword was crossed with a trident in the background.

Whose shroud did this belong to?

Perseus Achilles Jackson. The most powerful and heroic demigod in the history of demigods. The loyal hero who got banished without a reason, and kicked out of their own home. Sending his soul safely to rest was the least they could do to repair all of the wrongs they had done to him.

Zeus cleared his throat.

"We—"

"Brother, it is only fair we give the speech. After all, it is our son."

Everyone turned to see Hestia and Hecate standing at the side, grief and fury in their eyes. Even Hestia was in her 30 year old form, instead of her youthful 8 year old self.

"When you threw him out, we adopted him and granted him safe passages. So I think we are allowed to give him his final one."

Murmurs spread among the seated, but Poseidon then slammed his trident on the ground.

"SILENCE! We will discuss about why you didn't tell us or why you didn't ask for my permission when you adopted him, but we will not disrespect Percy." Poseidon yelled.

"We would like to have a speech as well."

Everyone whipped their heads around to see two hooded figures standing there, a male and female, knives and swords strapped to their sides.

"WHO DARES INTERRUPT SUCH AN IMPORTANT OCCASION!" Zeus screamed dramatically.

"Cut the theatrics, Father. As for who we are, we are Pine and Shadow, assassins of Chaos. Also once known as Thalia and Nico di Angelo. As for why we are here, we are not only here for Percy's funeral pyre, but we're here to aid you in the war." The girl—no, Thalia— said angrily, flipping her hood off along with Nico. Shocked gasps rang through the hall as the two made their way to the shroud.
