She's the girl
That nobody knows
She's falling apart
But it doesn't show
She looks in the mirror
And what does she see
The pain and sadness
That is hidden beneath
She puts on a smile
Throughout the day
But when she gets home
Her smile fades
Every night
She cries herself to sleep
She's trying to fight
But can't stay on her feet
She hates life
It brings too much pain
She can't understand
Why they call her names
She tries to stay strong
And stay on her feet
But they won't rest
Till they see her defeat
Her parents don't see
That she's on the edge
She often thinks
'What if she were dead?'
She thinks of death a lot
She just wants to end it
You see my friend
She welcomes it
Alone in her room
With a knife to her vein
She watches the blood
As she cries in pain
Suddenly everything goes black
She sees the light
When greeted by death
She has waited for this night
She takes his hand
And greets him too
Maybe this is her chance
To start a new
So there she goes
The girl that everyone now knows
