Part 6

They kept riding till they could see a lake.
"Let's take a break." Henry said.
"Yes, it looks nice here and the horses need to rest." they both dismounted their horses, taking down all of their equipment.

They let them stay near the lake so they could choose wherever they would like to go.
"I hope they won't run away since they aren't tethered." Henry stated.

"I believe Nova wouldn't do that, I know her."
"I-" Henry looked down, not finishing the sentence he had started.

"I will try the water. Want to come with me?" Louis looked at Henry with sparkles in his eyes.
"Shouldn't I stay here, with the horses?" he tried to find an excuse for not joining Louis.

"If you think so?" Louis shrugged his shoulders while walking towards the lake, undressing himself.

Henry's eyes lingered over Louis' naked back. He knew this was more than impolite, but he just couldn't make himself look away from the smooth skin of Louis' back.

When Louis was naked he jumped into the water, which thankfully made it impossible for Henry to stare more.

Louis kind of hoped Henry would join him, but he didn't. He watched as Henry sat down on the ground, looking after the horses, which just decided to eat a bit of the grass.

When Louis was about to get out of the water Henry looked away, giving him some privacy.

"Thank you." Louis whispered when he had his pants and trousers on.

Henry stole a few glances at Louis' naked torso though, but nothing more!

He rather got up after some time, taking Nova's equipment.

"What are you doing?" Louis followed him when he was fully dressed.

"Wanted to help you get Nova ready." the boy said when he placed the saddle onto Nova's back.

"Oh, thank you. I can do that on my own now." Henry's green eyes met Louis' momentarily.
The boy's were both standing pretty close to one another.

"Alright." Henry gave him a smile before he walked away.
Louis turned to steal a few glances at the stableboy with smile playing on his lips.

Rest of their day just consisted of riding.

"We should call it a day." Louis stopped Nova, getting down on the ground when they were somewhere in the woods.

There were big old trees all around them. It looked magical here, now that the sun was setting down.

"Yes, we should." Henry followed him, tethering Damon to a tree where Louis was currently tethering Nova.

The horses immediately nuzzled their heads together.

"They really like each other." Louis stated, taking his eyes to Henry.

"They do." Henry made few steps closer towards Louis, making the younger one's breath hitch.

They stood as close as never before and Louis just- panicked.

"We need fire, let's gather some stumbles." he said awkwardly, starting to look around the place for some.

Louis kept stealing quick glances at Henry while they were gathering the wood, wandering if he would really kiss him. Louis didn't know why he did what he did. He probably just panicked. Now he maybe even regretted his actions.
The prince would like to know how Henry's lips felt against his own.

When they had enough wood Henry started the fire like he always did and took out some bread to share with Louis.

"Thank you." Louis grabbed his portion, eating it hungrily.
They ate just once or twice a day so it was understandable that they were hungry.
