Louis ran with Nova back towards the palace, realizing how stupid he was when he decided to do something like this.

He knew he had to find a groom and get married eventually, that was his fate and he couldn't change that even if he wanted to.

The blue eyed boy arrived to the gate late at night.
The guards immediately announced prince's return home to king Philip.

"Louis, are you out of your mind?! Those princes came just for you, they came to court you and you ran away! You will be lucky if one of them still wants to marry you."

"I know father, it was very immature of me and I promise to never act like this again." Louis answered with his head hanging low.

"Alright. Go eat something and wash yourself before going to sleep."

Louis went into the kitchen where he grabbed himself an apple before he made his way into the bathrooms. He kept thinking about Henry though, he just couldn't bring himself to stop thinking about him.

After he bathed he walked through the palace. He had no candle, but that was never really a problem. The moonlight was always enough for the prince.

He kept thinking about the princes, wandering which one of them should he choose as his groom. His mind once again ran back to that curly haired stableboy with whom Louis had spent the last night.

For a moment Louis really thought he could run away from his responsibilities, from his history, from himself. He knew that was a stupid choice that he made. But at the same time he envied Henry. He was still out there, he was free unlike Louis. Louis had to do what was right, he had to take responsibility for who he was.

The next morning after breakfast king Philip send a maid for Louis.
The boy wasn't surprised at all.

"Have you chosen your groom yourself, my son?"
Louis faced the ground while thinking of his answer.

"I did father. Prince Valron is my choice." Louis couldn't believe he really said that.

"Wonderful news my son! We will let prince Valron know about your decision."

"Now, dress up. I think he would love to spend some time with you today." Louis nodded, making a bow before leaving like any other time.

Although the blue eyed boy never cried he let few tears stream down his cheeks this time. He didn't want to belong to Valron, but what could he do? If he didn't choose a groom himself his father would choose without him instead.

Louis went into his room where he sat down on the windowsill as he let more tears spill from his eyes.

Suddenly there was a knock on his door.
"Prince, king Philip told me to get you ready. Prince Valron would like to accompany you for a ride."

Louis didn't even look at her.
"I don't want to marry him. I don't want to marry anyone. I want to be able to live how I want, to spend my time outside with Nova or in the library with my books."

The maid kept quiet, not knowing what to say in response to her prince.

"Prince, you will get used to it after some time of living that way. Everyone did, even you will." she tried to give him a supportive smile.

Louis wiped his eyes before he got up and left the room. He didn't want to discuss it with Sisi anymore.

He walked into the dressing room where he chose himself some black clothes and let the maid help him get dressed up.

"You look just like a pretty picture prince William." Louis took a look at himself in the mirror before he left. He didn't care if he looked 'pretty' at all. He just wanted to get this done with.

He didn't utter a single word when he met a pageboy or another maid, he simply made his way onto the courtyard, walking into the stables to prepare Nova.

He never let anyone else touch her. Louis always said it was his horse and he was the only one who could take care of her.

When he prepared Nova he led her out onto the courtyard. A stableboy was just preparing the horse that belonged to prince Valron. Louis had to check the boy wasn't Henry. He kind of hoped he would see him here again but no, it wasn't Henry.

"My prince." he could hear the voice of his future groom.
He approached him, taking a hold of Louis' hand and pecking it on it's back.
"Prince Valron." Louis beckoned his head.
"I can't say how happy I am that you chose me, I promise I won't disappoint you." Louis nodded to his empty promises before he got into the saddle that he had prepared onto Nova's back.

"You will love Daria." prince Valron started the conversation when they began to lead their horses towards the gate of the palace.

"It's much more warmer and good weather is on everyday's schedule."

"I like rain. When it rains I can stay in, reading the whole day."
"Well, the weather has some bad days too." he devoted Louis a smile which Louis repaid him forcefully.

"You will get everything that you will need."

"Thank you." Louis knew the price couldn't give him what he wanted the most in the whole world, freedom.

"Anything for you, my prince." Louis glanced at him before he took a look at Valron's stallion. Nova kept her head on the other side, although he still kept nudging her somehow.

"What's your horse's name?" Louis asked.

"My horse's name?" prince Valron questioned.
"Yes."
"His name is Napoleon." Louis glanced at the white horse once again. Nova kept her distance from him, she didn't like Napoleon at all.
