Hawks' POV

Hawks meets up with Rumi at CFC at one pm. It had been almost four months since they'd last seen each other, but they resume like they haven't been separated. She brings him in for a hug, squeezing the ever-loving gods out of him. Nothing about her has changed, even after becoming an ex hero.

"So, what's been going on in your life? How's that fucker I can't stand?"

Hawks chuckles, knowing exactly who she's talking about, "Dabi's fine, thanks for asking. But, too much has been going on. And I might need a huge favour. And I don't want you to think this is the only reason I wanted to see you."

Rumi smiles from ear to ear, "Don't worry, I'm not offended. I've got some things I've got to tell you too. But go on, you first."

Hawks isn't quite certain where to start, but randomly picks a spot, "Remember that sister I told you about? The one Endeavour told me about?"

Rumi's eyes widen in disbelief, "Shut up, no fucking way. You met her!"

Hawks nods, "Yeah." Hawks quickly fills her into what had happened yesterday, and a bit about Hana.

Rumi is quite intrigued by the conversation, "That's fucking insane. So Japan's most wanted villain has a little sister, who is actually his older sister, and magically she's alive. This villain that's running around trying to kill heroes is actually your older sister, and now your group is no longer under AFO's protection. Fantastic, so when do you want me to rescue you from this fucked up group? You can always come live with us."

Hawks appreciate her enthusiasm, but it's not needed. "That's what I wanted to talk to you about. I know it's asking a lot, and you guys are trying to live a peaceful life, but we need more recruits. And you are one out of four people I trust with my life. The other three are part of the group already."

Rumi pouts, she leans back and crosses her arms, "Hawks, you know how much I love you, and I would kill anyone to protect you. But Hiro, Atsushi, and I have an entire group of kids to protect. If us three are gone, there's no one left."

Hawks nods, "I completely understand. But this new group is coming after us, and they're trying to break AFO out of prison. If that happens, this entire city will no longer exist. And your group will be in danger. Look, if we weren't desperate, I never would have asked you this. I feel awful for asking, but I need you guys. I want to protect these people."

Rumi sighs, rubbing her forehead with her fingers, "I really wish you never got involved with these people."

Hawks does feel bad about asking her, feeling the guilt chew him up inside. It was awfully selfish of him to drag her into the mess that he decided himself to join. However, he's worried that if AFO is let out of prison, there will be no peace and it will be full-out war. That means that those kids in the orphanage will have to live through a war that Hawks isn't quite certain that they'd win.

"Alright, fine. I'll discuss this with Hiro and Atsushi and come up with a plan. But you need to do me a favour. Mama has been begging me to make you visit them. They all miss you. And I think we should have a chat with Mama about all this. Out of everyone, she'll know what to do."

Hawks readily agrees but frowns once he remembers he needs to mention a few other things, "My quirk... I guess it's not exactly how it seems."

"What do you mean?"

Hawks quickly explains his whole ordeal of possibly inheriting his father's quirk as well as his mother's. Rumi seems intrigued, "That's fucking cool! So you can manipulate your feathers?"

He nods, "I guess so. The problem is, I haven't learnt to control it. I'm almost twenty-four, and now my quirk all of a sudden decides to show its' full power? It's fucking stupid."
