Unexpected Allies

Hawks' POV

Hawks watches Dabi cradle, Ren, in his arms, using his long fingers to dangle over her, Ren reaching out to grab onto his digits. Hawks smiles, loving their interaction and how well he and Tamura get along.

However, the moment doesn't last long, as the bell on the front door rings. Three unknown people walk in, a woman, a man, and a teenage boy walkthrough. Hawks immediately feels his feathers sharpen in alertness, and he can't help but ignore it.

"Welcome, what brings you all here?" Mama steps forward from the bar, walking towards the unwanted group and standing in front of them from a few feet away.

Hawks watches her, confused, wondering why she sounds like she knows who they are. The blue-skinned woman in a black pantsuit smirks, her bleach blonde hair slicked back in a claw lip, looking like a normal businesswoman. The one thing intimidating about her other than her aura was her piercing pink eyes. She looks like a normal person to say the least, and the tall man accompanying her doesn't look much different. He's dressed in tan Khaki pants, a black belt holding them up, and a black turtleneck. His thin rectangular glasses glint from the bar lights. Lastly, the kid looks to be around fourteen with brown unkempt hair and grey eyes. The kid's wearing jeans and a white and red shirt. All three of them look like a normal family, but seeing Mama's reaction, it seems like they will be an issue.

"What a welcoming you have given us. My husband and I were just showing our son around the neighbourhood. Figured I'd show him the place we were hoping to grab a drink from when we are done work."

Mama crosses her arms, "I do apologize, but there are no children allowed. This is a bar if you didn't know."

The blond woman smirks, "Well, as I can tell you also have children in here. I do not see why we can't show our son around."

Mama stands her ground, "I'm pretty sure we've already had this conversation. Your group is not welcomed here. No matter how much of a ruse you put on, that is not your husband and child."

"That's the kid who shot me."

Hawks is startled to hear the words come from Shigaraki's mouth, his head whipping towards his leader. Natsuo seems stunned as well, looking back at the kid. Hawks takes a few strides across the room, stopping right behind Mama. Hawks then hears the LOV get up from their seats and also trudge over.

The blond smirks again, "Well, well. Settle down boys, no need to bring your army onto us. We were just leaving. It was nice to meet you, Tomura Shigaraki. I hope the next time we meet it'll be much more pleasant. I do apologize for this boy, I'm sure he wasn't aiming at you."

Hawks watches Natsuo from the corner of his eye balling up his fists, and Hawks is scared he's going to step forward. Hawks reaches his left wing out to him, grabbing his attention as he shakes his head. Natsuo looks downright pissed, and Hawks isn't quite certain why he's so angry about it.

"Why are you actually here?" Natsuo's voice blares out, giving a matter-of-fact tone to it.

The man chuckles, and instead answers for the woman, "We were simply stopping to say hi like my wife here has mentioned. We did want to officially meet the three people who have such a large bounty on their heads. Our boss will be very pleased to hear that you all are doing well."

Hawks blood runs cold, his veins constricting as they try to conserve his warmth. Without stating who they were, Hawks knows right away. The man looks over at Natsuo, and Hawks wants to jump in front of him and block Natsuo out of the man's sight, "Good to see you managed to get out of that hospital. Such a tragedy what happened."

Natsuo steps forward to throw a punch and Hawks goes to stop him but Shigaraki holds out his hand in front of him. Instantly, Natsuo pauses his advances, a scowl still present on his face. "You son of a bitch. What psycho would attack a hospital?"
