Diluc, owner of Dawn Winery and Angel's Share, bartender, most famous Bachelor in all of Mondstat and, finally, Uncrowned King of Mondstat.

this man was simply perfect. he had the looks, the money and the personality. how did you know? because you knew him personally.

were you praising him because of your honest opinion, or because of your personal feelings for him? you had no idea. but that didn't matter. what mattered was the fact that he was an amazing person.

that is why you fell in love with him. you wished it was a simple crush, it would've made things less worse. but you just had to fall in love with him.

some of you may think that there's nothing wrong with that. but the problem is,

you knew you had no chance with him. and you knew he loved another.

you knew that all along, and yet, you still fell for him.

it was late at night, over at non-other than the Angel's Share.

you were there with your friends: Venti, Kaeya, Lisa and Jean. oh, there was also some short annoying bard with you.

why were you at the tavern even though you hated alcohol? because you wanted to get your mind off of a certain someone with your three friends.

unfortunately for you, your red-headed gentleman just had to work the shift tonight.

'why tonight of all nights?! he rarely works at the tavern.'

thankfully, you managed to convince your friends to go drink on the second floor. you all sat in a corner. not visible to Diluc, and him not visible to you.

so now, you were sitting next to your friends who reeked of alcohol. you could smell the scent of Dandelion Wine and Death Afternoon.

thankfully though, Jean and Lisa decided to go alcohol-free for the night. wich meant someone was going to help you get these drunkards home.

seeing all four of them drink their beverages made you thirsty yourself. you got up to fetch yourself a cup of water.

'shit! he's working the bar, i can't go get a cup of water myself.'

you turned around and looked at Jean with a pleading face.

"Jean, can you go get me a cup of water please?" you asked.

the blonde looked at you confused. "sure, but why?"

"i uh..." you paused. "i'll explain later! just please do it for me!" your pleading face only intensifying.
