your phone was ringing. someone was calling you. you reached for your phone and looked at who was calling you. it was your cousin.

'not her again.' you rolled your eyes and put your phone back to where it was.

"i swear if it's her again i'll-" your sentence was suddenly stopped by your sudden change in mood. your frown turned into a slight smile. the contact name was 'Albedo'.

you answered quickly. "Albedo? is something wrong? why are you calling me all of a sudden?" you started.

you could hear a slight chuckle from your phone, tickling your ear. "no 'hello' or 'how are you' ?" he asked.

"ah... sorry. it's just that you rarely call me so i assumed you needed something." you continued.

"i don't need anything. well, perhaps i do. but first, how are you Y/N?" his voice was gentle and serene.

you started kicking your feet in the air. you stopped however, after realizing what you were doing. "i'm good. and you?"

"i am doing alright. as usual." he replied.

"so, what is it you needed?" you cut to the point.

"you see, i have this art project and..." he paused. you thought you heard an exhale, but you weren't sure. Albedo was always calm and composed. why would he exhale nervously like that?

'ah there it is... he's probably gonna ask me to buy him some sort of material or some coffee.'

"and we need a reference- a muse for this project." he continued.

"i have a few friends that could do the job. my friends are really pretty, so i'm sure you won't have any troub-" you automatically suggested.

"no, i want you to be my muse. Y/N. not her friends." he cut you off.

you froze on the spot. your crush was asking you to be his muse. you couldn't muster up anything to say.

"Y/N? are you still there?" he slightly panicked.

"so when are you going to start the project?" you quickly answered.

Albedo, quickly relieved, replied. "today."

"yes. are you busy today?" he asked you.

"n-no. i can come today. so when exactly?"

with your phone tossed on your bed, you quickly got up from it and started changing. you couldn't decide on what to wear. you were going to model for your crush. no, you were completely in love with him. you met him about a year ago when you went to a library. he worked there at the time. you asked him for some help on looking for a specific book. eventually, you started going to the library every week and the two of you had grown close to eachother.
