• he stressed over it for at least 3 whole months

• because 1. he's scared you'll reject him and 2. he wants it to be good enough for you

• he wanted to buy you flowers, invite you to a restaurant, buy you a gift and everything but in the end, he didn't

• while you two were having a nice moment alone, he couldn't help it. he confessed

• his confession was long and passionate. he described everything he loved about you and how you made him feel. and to finish it off, "i like you a lot. i love you and i want to spend my whole life with you."

• he tried to make it fancy

• the problem is that, he has the money, but not the skills

• the date was honestly a disaster: the flowers he gave you died, the cake was smushed and tasted bad, while he was going to pick you up, he fell

• after you accepted, he hugged you very delicately and kissed the top of your head at least 100 times

• this guys is extremely romantic

• he invited you to dance with him alone next to the shore behind the Kamisato estate during the grand Narukami island festival

• he sent you a letter as an invitation. he also specified for you to wear the yukata he sent you along with the letter

• he was wearing a simple yet elegant and flowy yukata

• he prepared everything himself. he wrote the letter himself, went to his personal tailor and gave him the design he wanted for you because he couldn't find a yukata that would fit you and your beauty well enough

• after dancing, it was time for the fireworks (shoutout to my girl yoi)

• and then he kissed your forehead and then your lips

• he was badly hurt, on the verge of death to be precise

• thinking it'd be his last moment with you, he let out all of his true feelings out so that he'd at least die with no regrets "Y/N, i love you. thank you for making me experience something so wonderful although it was bittersweet. don't forget about me please."

• when he made it out and survived (slapped a c6 barbara on him), he denied his confession because of how embarassed he was

• you didn't buy his lies and just kissed him, wich he didn't seem to mind. "i knew you loved me, denying it was stupid Xiao" he was still embarassed but kissed you again anyways
