✿ Prologue - Begin Again ✿

Torture. Death. Hell. These are 3 words which describe her life which she had lived.. until, now.

The girl watched as her parents were being torn down by her own Aunt. She watched as they suffered to death, the last words she ever heard by them. "Never give up no matter how the situation is, alright? We love you.. now go with your brother. We'll always be with you."

Seeing how bad the situation is, her older brother took her hand as they opened a portal together leading to The Isle Of Spirits. Here, they were guided by the many spirits which roamed around the Island. Most being Kitsune's.

They guided them into being great magicians until Veliora reached the age of 8, and her brother 12. Her Aunt, she finally found them. Having a duel with the help of each Spirit, only led to Misery. Being hit by an intense spell by her Aunt, nearly knocked her out of consciousness. While being taken away to a portal, she released a final spell which caused her brother to be taken to somewhere else.

Despite predicting what she'll go through, she was selfless and will do anything for her sibling.

For years, she was forbidden to do what she desired. Her entire life was planned and there was not a day that would go by without her nearly Overblotting. She was taken by her Aunt, in seeing the potential she could possess if trained correctly.

Her Aunt wanted to show everyone that she could raise someone as impactful as her sister was, leading to her uprising.

Veliora had nearly perfect marks in all her tests. If she got even a deduction ofeven just 1 point in her test, it would be straight to torture, and hell. "Discipline" was what her Aunt thought. "Torment" was what she thought.

"59 over 60? Don't settle for 2nd best! I will not overlook this!" The girl heard, as tears started to fill her eyes. In a blink of an eye, she was put into a world of pain. Being entangled by tentacle like entities, which gave an insane amount of discomfort and ache to both her physical, and mental body.

She lived with this for years, to the point it became normal to her.. yet the pain never seemed to ease.

Because of her intelligence, she was able to skip 1 year of school causing her to be a 2nd year at the age of 16. "Night Stars Academy" her escape amidst reality. Here she made friends, and is able to enhance the natural talents she was given. Dancing, and Singing. They were her true passions, unlike drawing, writing, and quite a bit more.

One day, she accidentally lost focus in an exam due to thinking about what her next performance should be, causing her score to go down by 5. She thought about the consequences, she was going to lie to her "mother".. but it was too late. She found out. While the tentacles of pain started attempting to catch her, she saw amidst the dark.. a carriage.

In her instinct, she ran to the silhouette as her eyes slowly started to close. Awaking to a place.. where she could finally.. Begin Again.
