✿ Punishment! - Part 8 ✿

"Hey Grim, I'll be getting another bucket of water, alright? Don't cause any trouble or it'll be you whose tongue will be cut off." I said to Grim.

"Fgnaa! Don't cut my tongue off unless you wanna be roasted! I'll stay here to finish with the annoying leaves." Grim said, while trying to maintain a leaf pile in its position.

In the middle of my walk, I heard something.. something I didn't think I'd hear.

"That's the Verenden girl over there!" I heard someone say. How do they know my last name?.. It was only Azul who knew.. Maybe someone accidentally overheard me when I introduced myself?! I don't know.

"She's pretty hot." I heard another person say. I mean, you can't deny it. I'm hotter than the sun will ever be!

"Finally, I've got the water." I said, in relief. Bringing the bucket out, I saw a figure which caught my eye.

"..Lilia?" I muttered. I slowly dropped the bucket to the ground, as I ran to him. He seemed like he was heading back to his dorm.

"Lilia!" I semi-yelled once I reached him. "Oh? It's you, beastie. I was supposed to surprise you at your dorm tonight, guess you catched up to me before I could~" he said. "What's a little fox like you, doing here?~" he asked me. "Well.. I was just getting a bucket of water considering the fact I'm practically a janitor here. It's really nice to see you again after a while!"

He used to take care of me before whenever my mother was out. I missed his presence after I became 12, he stopped visiting me after then due to my mother's commands. He used to tell me about a number of stories, and sang lullabies to me so I could fall asleep! He also taught me a spell on how to quickly dye my hair. I remember asking him to teach me about a spell on how to make my hair color change based on my emotions. My hair's kinda like that up till now, but it's mostly only on my purple streak.

"It truly is my dear~" he said.. until a certain raccoon ruined the moment.

"Take that, Ace!" We heard from afar. "Hear that? That's my que to leave. I'll see you again soon, Lilia! You can visit anytime!" I really wanted to spend more time with him.. But of course, Grim has to cause trouble. "See you soon, Beastie~"

I ran back to Main Street seeing a crowd of students.

"Too close for comfort, and now take that raccoon!"

"How many times do I have to tell you? I'm not a freaking raccoon!"

There was wind and fire everywhere.. How disappointed I am at them.

"Ya! Fight!" I heard people encouraging them.

Through my rage, I quickly opened up a pathway amidst the large crowd by using a quite powerful spell.. I may have hurt a few.. Ha.. Ha.

My eyes started glowing a dark red, as the streak in my hair did so too. I walked the open path ready to scold them.

I pulled them over near me, using a gravitational spell. "GRIM. DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO FREAKING NOT CAUSE TROUBLE? AND ACE, I THOUGHT YOU LEARNT YOUR LESSON. YOU GUYS FIGHTING WILL LEAD TO NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING YOU DUMB HEADS. DO YOU WANT ME TO ACTUALLY CUT OFF YOUR TONGUES?" I said, in a rage as everyone went quiet.

Drip

The crowd of students soon dispersed. "I smell something burning.. If it's anything bad.. I won't hold back." The 2 stayed in their position as I looked around to see the Queen of Hearts statue chard to a crisp. "YOU IMBECILES!" I started creating a somewhat powerful blast of magic unintentionally in my hands. Fortunately, before it could burst.. Crowley arrived. Now, they're in trouble.

"Enough! Just what is going on here?" The Headmaster screamed, angrily.

"Headmaster!" Ace and Grim looked like they were ready to die right at this moment.

"He's gonna tie us up in his "Lash of Love!" Get outta here!" Before they could run, I hit them with a stunning spell causing them to freeze, which made it easier for Crowley to catch them.

"Owwww!" They yelped.

"It hurts just as much the second day in a row!"

"You're not in the right place to whine about it." I said, looking at them with a serious look, as my arms were crossed. I calmed down, although the red streak in my hair is still there.

"This is my Lash of Love! It'll be a hundred years before you can outrun me! I told you yesterday "Not To Cause Trouble" didn't I? Then you go and char a Statue of The Great 7!" He looked at me, with a pissed off look.

"I told Grim not to cause any trouble, and that I'd punish him if he would while I was heading off to get water. It's my fault for not keeping a better eye on him, and he's also my responsibility. I'll accept any punishment that will come upon us... Surely it won't be as bad as my mother's." I quietly muttered the last part.

"I would very much like to see you expelled." I mean, that's pretty fair but.. It's just the first day anyways.

"Wait! Not that!" Ace pleaded.

"Also, you. This isn't how I expected you'd supervise Grim. I expected more from you, especially since you're a Verenden. What do you think your parents would think of this behavior?" He told me, as I had flashbacks of The World of Torture. Even if they're only flashbacks.. I can feel the pain. I put my hand to my forehead, as I panted heavily. "Y-Yes sir. You're right, I was Incomptent.." I said, with heavy breathing as I felt the pain going to my hands.. No, I shouldn't be thinking about this. The more I do, the more I'll feel it.

I soon then calmed down, but I continued to feel a bit of guilt in my chest.

"My goodness.. You, what's your grade and name?" Crowley then looked at a terrified Ace.

"Ace Trappola, first year." Ace said, in a sad tone.

"Then Grim, Trappola, and Verenden.. As a punishment, I order the three of you to clean 100 windows around the Campus!" Crowley said.

"That's easy?" I quietly muttered.

"Fgna! This is all because this joker was making fun of us." Grim pointed at Ace.

"Ehh? Me too?" Ace said, taken a back.

"Yes, of course you!" I semi-yelled.

"After school, meet in the cafeteria. Understood?" Crowley said, with his knives as sharp as knives, piercing through our souls.

"Fine!" Ace said, giving in.

"Nothing but misery since yesterday!"

"You're in no right to whine about it. It's your fault we all got in trouble.. But anyways, 100 windows is pretty easy. Grim, continue cleaning up the leaves and I repeat.. DO NOT CAUSE ANY TROUBLE THIS TIME!" I said, emphasizing the last sentence.

"Fine!" He said, in an annoyed manner.

"I'll bring the statue back to its original state." I said, as I faced the chard statue. I slowly worked my way from the bottom using my magic, all the way to the top. In around 30 seconds, the statue came back to its clean and unchard state.

"Woah.." Ace said, in amusement. He then walked out of the scene, heading to his class.

Sigh

I really hope they learn their lesson from this punishment. 

A/N: Hi!! I said that I might not be posting today but I made this chapter at midnight after reviewing. I have exams once again tomorrow, with the subjects I dislike the most sob sob
