I  spent the night alone in the dorm since my roommate was out for the school party I was finally having a peaceful night.

And I couldn't stop thinking about brian, he's such amazing person not to forget he is also a nerd without glass or braces.

He's also a basketball player, which he applied for his first week in college.

Next day

I woke up early for my morning routine and was also excited to see brian to thank him for taking me out the previous night.

After my first class which was biology, I went to look for him at the basketball court which was blocks away from other classes.

I entered the room and looked for him but no one was around except for the cheerleaders who were practising and few people who were either just there to watch or do their homework.

As I was about to leave, I saw the basketball team walking in with their coach mr. Smith.

As he was about to talk to them, I heard people screaming and it was the cheerleaders, they got into accident and the boys ran to help them.

One of them was Brian, he bend down to one of the girls and he was touching her ankle, she screamed in pain so he helped her.

As he carried her on his arms she turned and my heart jumped a mile, it was SAMRA.

"wait what was she doing in cheerleading squad? Was she doing this to impress him or what?" I asked myself.

I didn't stay there for long so I left quickly to my dorm since I had free period for the rest of the day.

I walked in and slammed the door hard, it would break if it was made of  but it wasn't.

"Hey what's with the anger and please have mercy on the door will you?" Asked my roommate  sasha.

"Oh! Sorry my bad, wait I thought you had class today?" I asked as sat on my bed.

"I did but I called in and said that I was sick" she answered as she held her head.

"Too much drink at the party last night?" I asked her as I poured coffee for her.

"Yeah, I did it was a blast I never had this kinda fun for long time" she said.

"Good for you but now you're facing consequence for it by drinking "I said giving her the cup.

"Yeah you're right, I shouldn't have drink and it happens that I wasn't the only one you know" she said as she took a  sip of the  coffee.

"What do you mean? I know that everyone was drinking and partying.

"True but... I also saw a girl with hijab drinking at first I thought it was you but when she turned around it was samra I was so surprised " she said still holding her head because she had hang over.

"Wait you're must be mistaken,there's no way a Muslim is allowed to drink maybe you were hallucinating " I said.

"No am sure of what I saw ,she even fainted  afterward and someone carried her back to the dorm.

"I still don't believe you do you even have a proof of what you are saying?" I asked.

"Yeah I do, here let me show you" she said as she showed me a video of her dancing near the bonfire while samra drank and fainted and someone, a giy carried her away.

"No way, are you for real, what don't you send me the video" I said to her as I had a plan of my own.

Afterwards, she went took a nap once I gave her some sedatives to help her get sleep.

Then I went back to watch the video, as I walk around the room, an idea popped into my head and I immediately worked on it.

I sat near the window for better view  as I continued working on it then suddenly that's when I saw Brian and samra.

He was pushing her in a wheelchair then he helped her enter the car, there was a woman and a teacher walking behind them .

I guessed it was samra's mom as she was almost identical. The woman talked warmly and smiled at Brian but as soon as she hugged him her facial expression changed and she looked like she was warning him.

She then smiled at him  and  then walked  the other side of the car and drove away.

I looked at brian and his face showed that he was sad or angry I couldn't tell.

He shooked his head like he was disappointed and walked back to the room.

As I stared at him while he went in I got a notification on my phone. It showed that the video had been edited, I saved it on my laptop.

I went back to continue with my studies, I was still sitting next to the window, when I saw a guy sitting near a fountain and was on his phone.

I looked closer and turned out to be Brian. I closed my books and went to see him. He was still there and I walked up to him.

"Hey Brian, what are you doing here at this hour?" I asked looking around.

"Hey Sophia, I was actually on my way to see someone and what are you doing here?" He asked as he put his phone in his pocket.

"I saw you from my window so I came to say hi" I said pointing on the third floor on the right.

"Oh! Cool, I have to go by the way " he said not to sound awkward since we were quite for a while.

"Yeah sure and by the way how's samra doing, I saw you carrying her when she got injured in the basketball court.

"She's fine, she was given a leave for about two weeks I think" hesaid nodding.

"Yeah about that did something happen? I mean when her mom hugged you you looked disappointed " I said hopping for an answer.

"Nothing, she didn't say anything " he said.

I could tell he was hiding something but I didn't want to sound desperate so I just let it be.

"I gotta go, I'll see you around " he said and walked to the gate.

"Yeah see you around " I said

Even though I didn't want to follow him but something did look fishy, so I followed him and took a taxi.

As I was behind him, he stopped near a house, or mansion because the house was so big.

Brian got out and paid, I looked at the gate and jumped over the other side like some ninja.

I looked around the house when I saw a shadow near the window the person I saw made my heart jump a bit
