As soon as I finally done washing the dishes, I realised that I had forgotten to ask samra if she had left the hospital since she was there the whole day.

I texted her about Brian's mom, and she quickly responded without hesitation, and I was glad that we started talking.

She then asked about my notice and wanted me to send it to her,I asked why she didn't ask Martha, but her response made me pose before I sent her the notes via email.

I don't know why my heart jumped knowing that it's none of my business, and I just have to focus on my studies.

On one hand, I have a crush on Brian, who also likes samra, and now Martha tends to be with alvaro or Cody, whatever his name is.

But for once, I want to come out of my comfort zone and make friends and enjoy my college life. And also have fun while it lasts.

While thinking about it, samra sent me a thank you text. After that, I went to the kitchen to have dinner.

As I put the plate inside the microwave which Mariam had prepared for me before she went to sleep.

As I waited for the food to heat, I went to the fridge to get some apple juice to drink.i poured it to the glass when I suddenly heard someone opening the door.

I just waited to see who was trying to sneak in during the curfew. If it was mariam, then I would definitely scare the ship out of her.

I couldn't help but chuckle as she tried hard not to make a sound as she thought I was still sleeping.

She quickly put her shoes down while walking backwards. Unfortunately, her bag fell down, and her ozone started ringing.

She started panicking as she tried to end the call. All the time she was struggling, the microwave stopped beeping, which led her to scream and shut her mouth.

I tried to hold my laugh, but the way she screamed made me laugh at her expression as she looked at me confused.

"Sophie, seriously, you almost killed me." she still looked puzzled.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare it's just I couldn't help seeing you acting like bugler in your dorm, by the way you're late" I reminded her as I pointed to the clock.

"Well, at least I am on time. See,"she showed me her phone.

"You're right, but can't always depend on luck, and you still haven't told me where you went," I said as i took out the dinner out of the microwave.

"I went to date with my fiance, and we have decided to get married on spring holidays."She smiled as she looked at her phone.

"Looks like he's already texting you as soon as you entered." I pointed at her phone as I heard it buzzing on the table while she sat on  the couch next to me.

"He likes to check up on me all the time, isn't it great ?" She asked as she typed on her phone.

I nodded as I took a bite of chicken noodles and turned on the TV.

"Don't get mad but I happen to give the guy Cody your number " she said as she looked at me.

"What?why did you do that?" I whined.

"I won't deny he looks like he's interested in you and I couldn't help but did it I hope you're not mad are you?" She said.

"I can't believe you dis that, you should've pretend you didn't know" I said not knowing why my heart suddenly skipped.

"Well let's agree he might text you any minute and besides don't you want to have fun while you're here?" She asked curiously.

"It's just that I never had time for fun my head was always in books and now ...
