Sophia p.o.v
Once she saw me she stood up and introduced herself as Maria and she seemed nice, I also introduced myself and quickly realized that I had to send an email to samra and the rest.
"Sorry if I ignored after introducing myself I just had to send some files to my group and it nice to meet you too by the way" I said as I finally finished sending the emails.
"Its ok, I can see you're busy anyway so I'll let you finish your work and besides we are roommates,we will have enough time to know each other" she said as she was reading a book.
"Right we have time, it's just I spent a whole night preparing for the project I just hope we will win the project" I said as I finally sent the last email.
I closed my laptop and walked towards my bed, I was super tired and didn't want to stay at samra's house. The image of Brian lying his head on the sofa came to my head.
I couldn't help myself to smile at his cute sleepy face, so I turned off the light of my side and slept.
I was woken up by the Ray of the sun which lightened the room through the curtains, I sat on the bed and checked my phone.
I realized that I was going to be late for the class so i quickly got ready and looked for my laptop and found it lying on the table where I left it.
I was about to leave when I saw maria still sleeping and I went to wake her up but she refused saying she had no class so I made her something to eat before I left the dorm.
I reached the class and luckily the teacher came in as I sat down. I looked around for my group since we were going to present the project together but no one was around.
After everyone was done I was the last group to present our project, still no one came even when they were late.
"Sophia are you ready?" The teacher miss brown asked as she saw me looking around the class.
"Am ready but none of my mates are here can we wait for them for a minute?" I asked still looking around.
"Actually Brian wont be here he took a leave because his mom is in the hospital but for the rest I haven't received word from them" she said.
"That's that mean you're going to fail us because I can't do this alone it's a group project for starters?" I asked her.
"I guess I can give you time till tomorrow for you and your group to do it together i can't give you the points alone it's a group work for a reason" she said.
"Thanks for giving us a chance, you wont be disappointed I promise" I said feeling relieved because I wasn't ready to fail this project after spending the whole night doing the work alone.
After the class was over I left the class and texted samra but she didn't reply the text. So I called her almost the whole day but she didn't answer.
I decided to call Brian, since he didn't come and had an emergency, he didn't answer too so I tried one more time luckily he finally answered.
"Hello, Brian? Hey how are you doing?" I asked as he answered.
"Whose this?" He asked as he sounded like he just woke up from sleep.
"Its me Sophia, I heard you are in the hospital,how's your mom doing?" I asked him.
"She's fine,the scary part is over for once I thought I would lose her" he said as his voice was cracking as if he was crying.
"Am glad to hear that, is it alright with you if you send me the name of the hospital you are in I would like to see your mom if that's not a problem?" I asked knowing he was probably with samra.
