Shaina & David ran back to the shore quickly. "WINNIE IS DEAD! SOMEONE STRANGLED HER AND SHE'S DEAD! ONE OF US KILLED HER!" Shaina screamed as tears ran down her face. "SOMEONE ON THIS ISLAND IS A FUCKING FILTHY MURDERER!" She screamed.
Shannon quickly ran up to comfort Shaina. Colt looked at David. "Could David had killed Winnie?" Colt asked himself. He quickly dismissed that theory and called it ridiculous. For Jason, he definitely would have had a motive to kill him. But Winnie, he had absolutely none.
Shaina looked down at the ground. But then, something caught her eye. She looked at David's hands. They were beet red. David looked at Shaina, realizing what she was thinking. "You don't think I killed her, do you?" David asked Shaina. Colt stood up and said, "I do."
David turned around and stared at Colt. "What the hell man?" He exclaimed. "I think he not only killed Winnie, but Jason as well." Colt said. "He had motive for killing Jason. Jason lied to Kelsey about David cheating on her." He said.
Kelsey's head snapped up and so did Jonathan's. "As for Winnie, I'm not sure for the motive but his hands are beet red. That's all the evidence we need." Colt said. "Wait a minute, let me explain." David said. "This morning, I also saw David return to the shore from the woods. When I asked him what he was doing, he grew very defensive, almost as if he was hiding something." Colt said.
"I had to take care of something." David said, looking down. "Take care of what? Winnie?" Jonathan yelled. "Oh fuck off all of you. You just want to point blame on somebody. How about you point the blame at yourselves. I was gone this morning because I had to use the bathroom. Not necessarily something I want to get into with my best friend." David said. "My hands are red because while I was out walking, I tripped over a branch and fell hard onto the ground."
"That's a bunch of bullshit and you know it." Jonathan exclaimed. Before anyone could react, David flung himself at Jonathan and punched him in the face. Jonathan's face lit up with rage and he punched David in the gut. David fell backwards, coughing and sputtering. Before Jonathan could hurt David even more, Kelsey held him back. David glared at Colt, then said, "This is all your fault."
Before Colt could respond, David bolted into the woods. Jonathan, Huxley & Chase ran after him, trying to stop him. But they lost him and gave up fairly quickly. "I'm not wasting my energy on that asshole." Chase said.
Colt felt guilt begin to eat away at him. If what David said was true, he had just made David look guilty to everyone when he was actually innocent. Colt couldn't shake the feeling that David was the killer though. It just made sense in his mind. But he couldn't tell if it made sense because he wanted it to or because it actually did.
