"Jeez! Are you trying to murder my eardrums, Rafael?" I pressed my hands over my ears whilst jumping over the man I just shot.

"I thought he shot you!" He screamed in frustration, throwing the other attacker against the wall.

Everything was a shambles. The Invisible Army was in this house, damaging our property because one fine day they felt like doing so. They were about fifty of them and so were we.

"Vittoria!" Liam darted in from the side door with horror glazed eyes. "Don't fight. You're drunk!"

Ugh!

"Aah, Vittoria! Help!" He shrieked two seconds later, frantically shaking his arms up when two of them opponents charged on poor Liam at once.

I heaved a sigh and shot three bullets at one, two at the guys tackling Liam while the remaining one at the one fighting with our guard.

"Don't hurt my boys, you dingleberries!"

"Thanks mom." Liam fake cried.

Rafael's eyes surveyed the area around us. "Where are the others?"

"Ollie and Alli are upstairs, Toby is out near the stairs with Jake and Travis is at the backyard. Don't know about Mason and Camila."

Rafael nodded briskly, retrieving a machine gun from below the couch and firing at the enemies like bloody Ethan Hunt and no Vittoria you did not find that hot!

To avert a disaster, I ran inside the kitchen which was booming with gunshots. Broken glass pieces blanketed the wooden floor and cracked cutlery flew around like starships in Star Wars.

"Harri boy! Hi!"

"Careful, princess." He shrieked, wide eyed but the man about to chop my precious head fell down with a thud as he fired right through his skull.

"Stop breaking expensive furniture." I kicked a guy in his gut. "You want to kill me. Don't hurt everyone else."

The man laughed, rolling to the side in pain. "Saving you comes with a price."

Hearing that made me physically weak. The gun dropped from my shaking hands and I struggled to maintain balance. It was all because of me.

"Stop it. Please stop hurting them." I begged in a feeble whisper.

"Vittoria!"

The ground below my feet disappeared and soon after, my back crashed against the floor. The wooden door of the topmost kitchen cabinet splintered as the bullet missed me and hit it instead but Harri covered my body.

"Oh my god. Thanks, Harri." I panted, exhaling a held in breath.

"I'm your bodyguard, ma'am." He chuckled.
