He carried me outside and walked towards the corner of the street. Thank God the Nemesis had picked a remote and decrepit building in a quiet street because right now, the city's top detective was at her most unflattering and embarrassing position - hanging over the shoulder of a burglar, fully naked. This is a massive embarrassment not just for me but the City's police department as a whole and would be heightened tenfold if there were people here or the media had arrived.
But my rescuer, my knight in shining armour The Shadow Thief seemed to have everything under control and he walked quietly, took a turn at the corner of the street to arrive at a car parked next to the kerb. He put me on my feet finally and asked me to get in.
"I'm not getting inside a car with you" I glared at him in defiance as he towered over me and smirked. Standing on my bare feet without my heels as the Nemesis had robbed every single item on me felt so vulnerable, I lost a few inches of my height. Grrr!! I hate that Nemesis...when I get my hands on her..."You want to greet the media in your birthday suit like this?"
Suddenly he reminded me of my naked state and I quickly cowered, trying to cover my body by wrapping my hands around it, in a pathetic attempt, as if The Shadow Thief had not already seen everything I had to offer, multiple times.
I realized I was in no position to throw tantrums or show defiance. God The Shadow Thief always held all the cards and dominated me...damn it
"At least get me something to wear." I demanded.
He calmly went towards the back of his car, opened the boot and took out a blanket. He threw it me and said
"Now get in."
I quickly grabbed the blanket and got inside the back door. I lied down on the backseats and put the blanket all over me to shield my body from the street. The Shadow Thief smirked and got inside the car. Slowly he started driving when it occurred to me...
"hey where are you taking me?"
"Don't worry, I will reach you home safely"
I was dumbfounded by that answer. What does he mean?
"You know where I live? How???" I demanded in desperation.
The Shadow Thief only smirked which infuriated me to no end...It was the standard arrogant male smirk..where they think know everything and believe they're better than you...I hated it but was helpless as I always found myself defeated and humiliated in front of The Shadow Thief while he had all the control.
As The Shadow Thief continued to drive, I cowered on the backseat, naked, covered with just a blanket wrapped around myself. What would my police department, my colleagues, all my subordinates say if they saw me like this now? Naked and cowering in the backseat of a car being driven by the notorious master thief The Shadow Thief? That instead of arresting him, their boss and top detective needed to be rescued by him, got spanked by him and is now being driven home by him? What would the media say? What would Madiha say? God I hope she's not home now.
I peeked through the blanket to gaze out of the window to see if I could make out where he was taking me. Some of the buildings looked familiar. Wow! He really knew where I live.
Finally he stopped the car and got out. He came around the back of the car to open the passenger seat at the back. I was still cowering in the blanket. I quickly got out of the car to see he had parked just outside of my house.
"How?" I asked in shock and surprise but as usual he just smirked at me"Well Miss hot shot detective, why don't you try to figure that out instead of having that stupid, clueless look on your face all the time?" he laughed at me
