Ever since earlier, I want to ask her already who did all these to her, but I hold myself to ask. I want to know who is it but I don't want Jiwoo to become uncomfortable. She might not want to talk about it now.

And I am dumb to ask her how she has been. Of course, she wasn't been feeling alright.

"Uh, sorry, you don't need to answer that one." I said when she said nothing.

There was another awkward silence between us.

Maybe I should leave her alone, maybe she wants to have some space or alone time.

"I'll go ahead first, so you can rest." I said and didn't get any response from her.

I stand up and was about to open the door when she talked.

"I wasn't feeling any better in the past few years..."

I looked at her who was again looking at her lap and fidgeting her hands.

"But, I-I am feeling okay now." She said looking at me.

I smiled at her.

"You'll feel so much better soon, I promise."

"Thank you."

I might not yet know the whole story she has been through but just her being separated from our kids might hurt her, so much.

Speaking of our kids, does she know that Hyunjin is ours? Or she doesn't?

The sisters in the orphanage said that Hyunjin was left there when she was just three months old.

We tried to check the CCTV camera outside the orphanage to see if we can get any information when the man left Hyunjin there but at that time, there wasn't any CCTV at the orphanage.

"Uhm, do you want to rest? Or do you want to do something else?" I asked.

"Can I, can I see Hyeju?"

"Of course, you can come with me later when I'll fetch them from school."

"No, I... I don't want Hyeju to know yet I am here. Pictures, can I see her pictures? If that's okay."

"Okay, I'll go get the iPad for a while." I said and left to get the iPad in my room.

Why does she not want to let Hyeju know that she's here? Is she leaving?

Going back to Jiwoo's room, I gave her the iPad that contains all of the twin's photos and videos.

"Thank you." She happily said.

I let her look at the photos and video and I smiled every time I see Jiwoo smiling. She looks like she can't help but smile.

"Is... Is this Hyunjin?" She asked which surprised me.

Did she know Hyunjin? So she knows that Hyunjin is ours?

"Yes, that's when I told her that she's coming home with me." I said.

"She's beautiful."

"She is, our Hyunjin is very beautiful." I said that made her look at me.

"You... You knew?"

"Yes, I just knew about it a month ago, when Mr. Kim did a DNA test." I said.

"Dad?" She asked and I nodded my head.

Another thing, I want to call Mr. Kim and tell him that Jiwoo is here but I want to ask her first.

"Yeah, we sign a contract, I make designs for their idols. I let him meet Hyeju and Hyunjin. He grew attached to them, I was planning to tell him about Hyeju but I don't know how. I exactly knew that Hyunjin is also ours on your birthday last month." I explained.

"Oh, he... He was angry, right?" She asked and I nodded my head.

"Yeah, but I explained to him and all. Now, we're working on finding you, but here you are, you found me instead." I said and she looked away.

"Do you want me to call your dad? Tell him that you're here." I asked and she immediately shakes her head.

"No, n-not now. I-I'm not yet ready to meet him or anyone. Don't tell anyone that I am here." She said.

"Okay, I won't. Just tell me when you're ready to meet them again then we'll call them one at a time." I said and she nodded her head.

"Thank you Soo. I'm sorry for bothering you."

"Hey, you're not bothering me. I'm more glad that you are here, at least now, I know you are safe." I truthfully said.

I'll go with her pace. I don't want to do anything or say anything without her opinion. I want to make sure that she wants to do things of her own will. I don't want her to feel that she's being forced.

Now that Jiwoo is here, I'll make sure that I'll protect her. She might not tell me yet any of her point of view, but I'll way. Just like what I did to Hyeju, I'll wait for her to open up.

I'll wait. I can still wait. No matter how long it will take.

"Huh?" I reacted when I felt an on my arm.

"You were spacing out."

"Oh, sorry, I was thinking something. Is there something you need?" I asked and she showed me the iPad.

"Can you tell me which are the daughters of Jungeun and Jinsol unnie and which are Kahei unnie and Haseul unnie?"

"Of course! This is Heejin and that one is Yeojin, they are Kahei unnie and Haseul's kids. Then this is Chaewon and Yerim, Jungeun and Jinsol's kids." I said pointing out each.

"Hyunjin, Hyeju, Chaewon, and Heejin are at the same age. Yerim is one year younger than them and Yeojin is two years younger than the four."

After sharing more stories with Jiwoo, we headed down to make our lunch. She insisted on helping me in cooking and I agreed.

"I never knew you'll learn how to cook." She said and I chuckled.

"Yeah, I never thought I will learn how to cook by myself." I said.

She once told me before that I don't need to learn how to cook since she said that she'll be the one cooking for the both of us.

I heard a little giggle from her that made me look at her.

"Why?" I asked.

"Nothing, it just, it feels the same way I felt before." She said and I got confused.

"Which felt the same way?" I asked out of curiosity.

"It feels the same, that you can make me feel safe and protected even you're not doing anything. Just like before."
