    Elliot

I could swear I put my textbook and notebook in my bag before I left the house In the morning! I sighed in frustration, pouring all the books in my bag on my locker.

I really don't have time for this, where are my books? Maybe I gave them to Edmund? I was about to get up when I felt someone wrapping their arms around my shoulder. "You didn't say hi to me today, Elliot." Diane whispered to my ears.

Not now, Diane.

"Please Diane, am not in the mood for this." I said trying to unwrap her hands, but she refused to let go, I sighed. "What's wrong?" She asked running her hands through my curls, I shut my eyes reminding myself that we're in school and we shouldn't be in this position.

"You look tensed, let me help you calm down." She cooed kissing my temple, I completely forgot what I was looking for. Diane had this power against me, no matter how stressed or angry I was, whenever she came to me I'll find myself calming down, yes. She Can be annoying and super clingy but she was extremely beautiful,  and she always played the role of a super jealous girlfriend, though we're not dating. I know the reason she was always clinging onto me was because of my popularity and wealth, the looks were just a bonus for her.

"Have shame! This isn't what you came to school to do." I heard an annoyed voice say, I looked up to see Diane's friend. Chelsea? Or was it Kelsey? I don't know and care to know.

Diane stopped and shot her friend a glare, "can't you see we're busy?" Her friend rolled her eyes, "everyone's staring." She frantically ran her hands in the air. "So? Because their watching doesn't mean I can't make my boyfriend feel good."

I coughed loudly, catching their attention. "We're not. We are not dating." I said slowly, so it gets to her brain. "Yes we are!" She shouted so everyone could hear, I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Please.." she held my hand. "We are dating Elliot Collins, and I don't care what you think. As long as I know we're dating that's good for me." I raised my brows snatching my hand from her.

What the hell? Is this girl okay?

"Wahala," I heard someone say from the back, "Diane please leave Elliot alone, you can't force someone to love you." Another voice said.

I packed my books into my bag and stomped outside to find Edmund. But not before I heard someone say, "he's such a player!" I sighed shoving my hands into my trouser pocket, walking into Edmund's class.

I found him deeply concentrated on the book he was reading, even in the noise the class was making, God his so wired, just because exams are around the corner doesn't mean you'll have to spend every single passing minute reading.

Edmund and I are in different classes because am doing science and he's doing Arts, as hard to believe as it sounds, I'm very good when it comes to solving any maths questions, and chemistry or physics were not hard for me, plus I can never read, like you expect me to sit down one place and read a whole novel? Hell no. But Edmund  on the other hand can read three novels a day and Summarize the whole book without breaking a sweat. Plus he's very good with public speaking and stuffs like that.

"Elliot! How far?" My guy, Lekan said walking up to me as we high-five, "am good o, but this school stress eh." He laughed "I dey tell you." When I walked into the class room I saw some girls whispering and pointing at our way, typical. I guess the reason am more popular than Edmund was because I have this bad boy attitude, But that doesn't mean he isn't popular too. With the teachers. They hate me, actually hate is a strong word they just can't tolerate me.

"What brings you to our prestigious class?" Lekan asked, I rolled my eyes with his big words. "I came to see my bro." I gestured at Edmund. I know he knows am here but he's just pretending to not notice. Yes, I annoy him that much.

"This your serious brother," Lekan laughed, "Edmund it's okay na, we know you don't want anyone to take your darling first position." Lekan called to him. Edmund looked up irritated, "I'll see you later. Let me go and finish my assignment."

"And by finish you mean copying then yes better go and finish your homework." Lekan kept his hands on his chest,   " am deeply offended. . but it's true Sha," he shrugged walking away.

"What's up?" I asked dragging a chair a sitting next to Edmund. "What is it?" He snapped, I raised my hands in defense, "be nice for once." He raised his brows and said, "I don't do niceness, it's pathetic." He mimicked my voice, I chuckled, "using my own words against me eh?" I nudged him by the side gently.

"What do you want?" He repeated adjusting his glasses, "Did I give you my textbook and notebook before we left home?" I asked being serious. He shook his head, "nop, you left it at the dinning." He answered. Wait what? "You knew?! Why didn't you bring it for me, I have presentation on chemistry today and I need the books," I rested my head on his locker. "How will I know you'll forget them?" He asked, I sighed. "What am I going to do now."

"Am looking for Elliot and Edmund Collins?" A dark woman asked walking into the classroom, we both raised our hands, the woman walked towards us,

"your mother is outside she wants to see you two." The woman said before leaving. I raised my brows in confusion, "why is mum here? I hope everything is okay," Edmund nodded closing his book as we walked outside.
