He stopped to kiss him.
It was really great to finally be able to be affectionate in public now

The rest of the day they held hands. They held hands like no one was watching.
They got dirty looks, slurs, and a bunch of other things, but the people who mattered smiled.
and talked to them as usual. They were in love and no one, no words, nothing could or would change that
They got ice cream for dinner
"Cheers, to pride, to being out, and especially to us" Charlie said
"You forgot one thing"
"What?"
"To love."
"To love."
