Chapter 10- First Impressions

Penny's POV:

Great the first night here, it was mandatory to be with your cabin to get to know each other. I didn't want to be around Drake and the girl, Anna. They were dripping with lust! Why didn't they just fuck each other and be done with it.

Rayna always thought I liked him, but come on. I'm not jealous, sure Anna is pretty with green eyes, skinny, and a kind person. I could care less! I could hang out with Will, since Rayna was taking a liking to Nick. I head back to the cabin and see Anna and Drake whispering and laughing. I turned around and walked out.

"It's Penny right?", I see Anna running after me. I reply with a yes and start walking away. "Wait, we didn't have a proper introduction. I'm Anna. It's nice to meet you!", she smiled. The fact that she's nice is making it hard to hate her. I smiled and shook her hand, "If you'll excuse me, I have to go."

She looked hurt as I left her. I bumped into Will and he looked concerned. "Hey, what happened?", I looked at him and said nothing. I tried to walk away, but he got a hold of my arm. "Talk to me.", I sighed but didn't walk away. I told him it was nothing and it wasn't important. "It is if your upset", he gave me a sad smile.

Will was always nice to me, I looked at him like a big brother. I always knew he liked Rayna, I wish she would notice already. They would make the best couple.

Nick's POV:

Talking to Rayna was fun, but I wanted to annoy Anna. Rayna was nice and funny, but I was more attracted badass kind of girl. Like Anna........ Why was I thinking about her? I didn't like her.

She clearly didn't like me. Drake and her were together the whole time during dinner. I saw her friend Penny towards and I decided to slip away. I walked back to the cabin to find Drake and Anna. Of course......

She looked sad and I walked towards her quietly and sat on her cot. "Please don't right now, I'm not in the mood.", she whispered ever so softly. Drake got up and left the cabin. "Sorry, I just wanted to make sure you're ok", I slowly got up. "No, I'm sorry. You were just trying to be nice", she looked down. I asked her if she wanted to go on a walk.

We walked around in the meadow, I cheered her up by saying bad pick-up lines. "Wow that was probably the worst", she giggled. I like seeing her smile....... What was I saying?  

We returned to the cabin, both with smiles. Everyone was getting ready for bed when we walked in. " Thanks for taking me out on the walk. I needed it!", Anna turned to me and smiled. "No problem! I had fun!", I smiled back and went to me cot.

Will's POV:

I got up to people screaming. I look up and see everyone awake. I see Rayna and Penny yelling at Anna. "Can you keep your hands off of every single guy! You slut!", Penny exclaims. "What is your problem! What did I ever do to you? And what guys have I been all over??", Anna replies back in a harsh tone.

What was happening? I look over at Nick and Drake, they seem to be as surprised as me. "Please! You know exactly who you've been all over! God! Of course we get the slut in our cabin!", Penny says to Rayna. Rayna looks lost and not wanting to hurt any feelings.  

"I'm sorry you feel that way. I'll get out of your way.", Anna's voice cracks as she begins to walk out the door. "Wait! Anna! Don't go!", Nick goes after her.

"What the hell, Penny! What did she ever do to you? You're the one who wouldn't talk to her! You guys made her talk to the guys because she had no one else! If there's anyone to blame its you guys! She's innocent and a good person. I can't believe you guys! I thought you guys were different......", Drake kept rambling on and yelling at Rayna and Penny.

I looked over at Penny and her yes got wide. She looked like she was about to cry, so did Rayna. Drake stormed out to find Anna and Nick. They looked over at us an I didn't know what to say. What Penny said wasn't right, Anna was a cool girl to hang out with. I didn't like to start or get involved in people's problems, but Anna deserved to feel like she belonged.

I got up and took one last look at Rayna and Penny. She looked confused and at lost of words. I walked out...... I found them sitting on the bench swing in the meadow. Nick and Drake were trying to comfort Anna, but she kept pushing them away.

"Look, I can see I'm not liked in the cabin. I'll just ask for a switch.", Anna suggested. "No!", Nick and Drake both said. Drake assured her that Penny would come around and Nick told her she had us. I joined them and agreed with both.

Everything is going to be okay! I know it, I told her Penny had dramatic explosions. She would come to her senses soon.  

This was going to be a long eight weeks............
