Chapter 1- News

*Three years ago*

Anna's POV:

Could this day get any worse? I don't even know how to begin to describe this horrible day!!! First I failed my history pop quiz, my flip-flop broke during school and I had to limp everywhere. Then when I got home I found out the worst news ever.

"Anna, baby. We love you and we want you to have a great high school experience. I know you think it is a little late, but you could go to Dolfers Private School and get into a great college." My mom said sincerely.

It sounded like a good idea, except I didn't want to drop everything and leave my friends in the middle of junior year. I wanted to go to Stanford and become a psychologist.

Dolfers was an prestigious organization that had private schools around the US. Aren't I lucky that there's one an hour away from my house?  

My parents were willing to drive back and forth everyday if I wanted to go. "I have to think about it", I replied. I ran up to my room and grabbed my laptop off the desk. I found the Dolfers website and began scrolling down.

That's when I found the perfect compromise. I ran downstairs........

Rayna's POV:

"Rayna! Get up or you're going to be late!" I slowly opened my eyes and stretched. I got up slowly and walked in my closet. What to wear........

Sometimes I hated going to a private school. It's good that we don't have to wear uniforms, but what kind of school doesn't let you wear jeans. I think it's a bunch a bullshit!

I was basically new since I started going to Dolfers last year. Usually kids started in preschool. Everyone was very welcoming and nice, but it wasn't the same. I missed my friends and my public school.

"Rayna! If you're not in the kitchen in one second, you're walking to school!" "Mom! I'm coming, god!" My mom can be so annoying sometimes.

After breakfast, I got into the car. As I was walking into the school building. Someone from behind hugged me........

Penny's POV:

I was walking into school when I saw Rayna. She was kinda new to our school and was really sweet. She basically my best friend now!

I called to her, but she didn't hear me. I ran and hugged her from behind.  

"God! You scared the crap out of me! Don't do that!" she stated. "Come on, I'm just having a little fun. Calm down, lighten up! Stop being so uptight!"

We walked in the classroom and I slammed into someone's chest. "Watch where you're going!" I yelled and looked up to see who it was........
