I'M SO SORRY AND THIS IS SO UNPROFFESIONAL BUT ON TO CHAPTER 17.
------------------------------------------------------------------
It was the first morning after they had ran off together. Chenle's mom had prepared breakfast for the three of them to eat together but that was the least of jisung's worries.
He was dry heaving and sweating profusely as he paced around in circles of the bathroom. Bumping into the marble counters, he fell to the ground and began to shake violently.
Jisung held onto his legs trying to calm himself down. He needed something. Anything. He rocked back and forth, trying to get his mind to calm down for just a second so he could come up with a solution. He didn't want to steal any alcohol from the old chinese woman who was allowing him to stay in her wonderful home with her son, but this was a completely different town. He didn't know any dealers. Hell, he didn't know if anyone in this small town had even seen a drug.
"P-pull yourself t-together park, you can do this." he whispered to himself, trying to calm his breathing and shaking body.
He knew today was gonna be hell when he woke up in a cold sweat with a horrible migraine.
"How c-could you be so st-stupid!" he whisper yelled to himself. This was getting him no where, he needed to get out and find something to get rid of his withdrawals.
He finally found the strength to pull his shaking figure from the floor and rummage through the entire bathroom. Jisung searched every cabinet and drawer before finally coming across some cough medicine. It wasn't what he wanted but it was enough to hold over his desires for at least an hour so he could find the real deal.
"Jisung, are you okay in there?" chenle sounded worried from the other side of the locked door.
"Yes!" he yelled a bit too aggressively, but he didn't have time to apologize now.
"Sounds like someone woke up on their boy period." chenle whispered to himself as he retreated back to the kitchen where his mother was.
Jisung downed the entire bottle of cough medicine in one go, ignoring the horrifying taste it left in his mouth and splashed water on his face.
"P-pull yourself together." he whispered again. His body was vibrating but the cough medicine had distracted him from the withdrawal symptoms. He grabbed his phone from where he previously sat on the ground and texted his dealer.
'Hey man, i'm out of town right now but do you know any dealers in my area???' - Jisung 9:46 a.m.
Jisung sent his location and waited for the man to reply. He wished he'd hurry up though.
'Since you're one of my regular customers, i trust you so here's his location' - xxx 9:50 a.m.
Jisung thanked the lord from the heavens above and rushed out of the house. He knew it was disrespectful to leave unannounced so he texted chenle that he'd be back in 30 minutes and to eat breakfast without him.
He could care less about having to hide drugs in someone else's house, he really liked chenle but he was in far too deep to give up his addiction now.
After the short walk, that felt way too long, jisung used the last of his money to buy as much illegal substances from the sketchy guy as he could. He needed it to last him until they went back home. Where was he gonna keep all of this? He had no idea.
He made his way back to chenle's home after about 45 minutes.
"Where've you been? You leave for almost an hour and come back empty handed?" chenle giggled bitterly, you could hear the disappointment in his voice. Jisung felt bad.
He had already taken 3 pills on the walk back home.
"Yeah, uh... the store didn't have what I need!" he lied.
"What is it that you need? I'm sure I can get it for you." chenle insisted to which jisung immediately turned down.
"Well, c'mon you missed breakfast with my mom and she really wants to get to know you!" chenle dragged him away to the lounge room.
Jisung didn't know how to approach telling chenle about his addiction without tearing them apart. He cared about the chinese boy dearly but he'd never had to explain his situation to anyone. Everyone in his life just sort of picked up on it and never really spoke about it. It was like an unspoken rule to not speak about it. He knew that once chenle found out it'd devastate the poor boy and he desperately needed to avoid that.
He'd keep this secret for as long as he needed to.
