Another week passed, and jisung was loving all the alone time him and chenle were receiving. Of course Ms. Zhong was here but she was always off doing her own thing. Jisung thought she was too independent for an older woman.

The 3 of them were currently in the lounge room, enjoying a horror movie marathon. Chenle and jisung were cuddled up on the smaller couch while Ms. Zhong was sprawled out on the bigger couch. The two young boys wanted the big couch, but the older woman threatened to lock them outside if they even tried.

Chenle cuddled more into jisung's side, covering his face and letting out a small yelp at the jumpscare that appeared on the screen. Jisung would be lying if he said he wasn't enjoying it.

Ms. Zhong whispered a small 'wimp' and turned her attention back to the screen.

"It's okay, lele. I'm right here." jisung whispered into the frightened boys ear, placing a piece of popcorn into his mouth to distract him from being scared.

Once chenle had finally calmed down and turned back to the movie, his phone started to ring. He excused himself from the room and went to discuss his business in the kitchen.

"Hey, renjun! what's up?"

"Have you told him yet? You're supposed to be leaving tomorrow." renjun spoke in a serious tone from the other line.

"I'm going to! It's just not the right time." chenle sighed in frustration.

"Chenle, It's never the right time with you! This is your career, he won't be upset with you."

"We've been having such a good time lately, I can't just tell him that i'm flying to china tomorrow to work on a new album!"

"The longer you wait, the worse the bomb is gonna be."

"I know, you're right." chenle facepalmed himself. "I'll tell him tonight, talk to you later." he hung up the phone without waiting for renjun's approval.

What chenle had failed to notice was the younger male standing at the entrance of the kitchen.

Chenle watched as the taller male approached him slowly with tears rimming his eyes.

"You're leaving..."

Chenle's heart shattered at the sound of his voice. He could only nod or he'd end up crying too.

"Why didn't you tell me?" jisung whispered.

"I didn't want to ruin the good time we were having." chenle answered, disappointed in himself.

"How long are you going to be gone?"

"a few months."

Jisung went numb at his words. The tears had begun to drop long ago. He couldn't hear anything as he stormed out of the house and down the street. He couldn't hear the many calls of his name from chenle.

He was brought back to reality when he felt chenle grab onto his arm to stop him from walking any further.

The two were standing on the sidewalk outside of the Zhong family home at 4 in the afternoon.

"Jisung, p-please just listen to me!" chenle sobbed holding onto both of jisung's hands. Jisung tried to retract his hands but the older had a death grip on them.

"I was going to tell you! I just wanted to embrace everything we had at the moment rather than ruining it!" he released his hold on jisung's hands and held the youngers face.

Jisung's sadness evaporated and was replaced with anger. "You drag me on this getaway with you just for you to leave not even a month later." he spoke, his words laced with venom.

"Jisungie please don't do this, I love you for fucks sake!" chenle begged, tears streaming down his face like a waterfall.

Jisung thought the first time he'd hear those 3 words from the singer would sound like music to his ears. He was dying to say the same words back, but he settled on saying a different set of words.

"Piss off, chenle." he shoved the pop star off of him and stormed down the street. The sudden force caused to chenle to fall on his butt, but he didn't have the strength to stand back up. Instead, he pulled his knees to his chest and sobbed into his hands.

The first thing jisung did was call yangyang.
