Part 4

Nate was just another to knock on Cam's house door before it swung open. Cam came outside, closing the door. He seemed to be in a good mood but.. Nate was about to ruin it.

N: "look Cam about this girl-"

C: "I know I can't wait to meet her!"

Cam was about to walk away before Nate pushed him back softly.

N: "dude we need to be careful y-"

C: "dude stop overreacting"

Cam tried walking away again making Nate push him back again a bit harder.

N: "dude stop cutting me off."

C: "sorry? I guess but let's go, we're gonna be late."

Cam tried leaving and Nate got annoyed and grabbed his shirt slamming Cam against the wall pretty hard it made Cam let out a groan.

C: "eh~ ...d-damn dude-"

N: "Listen to me."

Nate said coldly, making Cam's eyes widen.

C: "D-damn..umm alright"

Nate, still pissed off, has come pinned to the wall not letting him go. Cam doesn't say anything though he doesn't wanna get him pissed off again.

N: "stop being a fucking idiot and listen to me."

C: "y-yeah damn I'll listen to you.."

Cam says looking away quickly makes Nate sigh and he lets him go. Cam adjusted his clothes a bit and awkwardly asked.

C: "sooo? You were saying.."

Nate crossed his arms.

N; "I just want you to be safe..I don't want you to go into this situation like a dumbass and just run into this girl we don't even know, like what if this "girl" is a whole ass middle aged man or a grandpa."

C: "aweee you worried?"

Cam says teasing Nate playfully, making Nate quickly turn away. He got a tiny bit flustered by these words but tried to play it off.

N: "Cam s-seriously..jeez.. ahem. I'm serious, I don't want something bad to happen to you.."

Nate cleared his throat once then doesn't make eye contact with Cam but he touches his shoulder leaning close to his face.

C: "I'm glad you're worried but I promise nothing bad is gonna happen to us. She goes to our school plus you have my super strong buddy over there too. I mean- you pinning me to the wall was a bit intense."

Nate shoved Cam's shoulders.

N: "Shut up, this girl better be entertaining or you owe me 20 dollars."

C: "20 BUCKS? Dude I barely have 1 dollar!"

N: "you have to figure it out then man"

They finally arrived at school. They went to the spot they were supposed to meet up and waited..and waiting..and waiting...andddddddd waited some more.

N: "gosh is this girl ever gonna show up."

C: "Yeah soon."

One minute turned into ten minutes and ten minutes turned to thirteen minutes and yeah.

N: "we probably got stood up"

C: "Wait, look!"

Cam got excited and started yanking on Cam's shoulder.

The girl from the photo showed up but was prettier? Her hair was perfectly straightened, makeup done perfectly and wore a black skirt with a white crop top. And a jacket wrapped around her waist. She seemed to be eating a brownie as she walked up.

She finished chewing then apologized.

?: "s-sorry I'm late.."

C: "it's okay!"

Ch: "I'm Chrissy by the way I know we talked but it was really over text!"

C: "Yeah this is Nate and I'm Cam"

Nate looked her up and down and didn't say a word but coldly looked away.

Ch: "oh.."

Chrissy said under her breath. The girl slowly grabbed Cam's wrists.

Ch: "you look so nice today i know that.."

C: "I do?"

Ch: "Of course! Why wouldn't you?"

Chrissy and Cam went back and forth basically flirting with each other. Making Nate not really feel left out just fucking annoyed. How he can like somebody better than him this fast.

The sight didn't make him feel bad for himself, it just made him pissed. After what felt like forever the girl smiles waving goodbye.

Cam waves back and rambles.

C: "see! This wasn't a mistake, she's so funny, nice, pretty and like everything you would want for your friend."

N: "....yeah sure whatever."

C: "you okay?"

N: "you better not choose her over me"

Cam walks up to Nate sitting down next to him. Nate was still pissed off and Cam slowly reached to his cheek. He slowly rubs his cheek with his thumb making Nate calm down a bit.

C: "why would I pick her over you?"

N: "I don't know.."

Nate says softly.

C: "I promise we will always stick together."

N: "you better not fuck up that promise..."

Nate grabs Cam's wrist pulling him away from his cheek.

C: "the only promise I'm fucking up is eating ice cream then like shitting my brains out but besides that we gonna stick together."

N: "....your so gross"

C: "and you have a bad attitude"

N: "don't push it"

Nate wanted to think he would keep his promise but...things happen y'know.
