Part 3

Nate was sleeping peacefully until his loud ass fucking alarm goes off in ear making his jump.

He slowly turned off his alarm and rubbed his eyes. He rolled over with his phone. And slowly opened his text messages.

N: "...."

Nate saw a group chat was made. With him, Cam and that girl. He wanted to leave but wasn't that much of a dick.

But he says Cam texted him a good morning message.

N: "this dude.. he is quite something"

Nate slowly got up and stretched

N: "oh yeah i'm supposed to meet that girl in like an hour... jeez"

Nate got up and picked out an outfit. It was pretty basic. I mean it's not like this was a special occasion? Nate goes to the bathroom and brushes his fingers, throws his hard a bit before he sighed.

N: "I wonder if Cam would think I look like a mess.."

Nate turned the sink on. Then I realized what he just said.

N: "w-wait... why would I even care about what that idiot says I just need to think about myself.. right?"

Nate gets some water and puts it through his hair. He starts to brush it trying to get at least some kinda thing going on. But it literally just still looked like her hair. So he just fucking gave up.

N: "who cares..."

Nate said, throwing the brush at the stink before he went silent.

N: "Cam might care.."

Nate muttered and got a bit annoyed at himself.

N: "why the fuck do I even care what Cam thinks about me.."

M: "Maybe it's because you care about him."

Nate turns around noticing his mom standing behind him.

N: "m-mom?!"

M: "I can tell you're stressed out, tell me what's wrong?"

Nate looks back at the mirror.

N: "fine it's just.. Cam got this message from a girl. She sent him a picture and I got jealous and left. Now we have to go meet up with this girl at school in like an hour. And all of a sudden I care about my appearance? And I can't stop thinking about Cam.."

M: "you have to be safe.. you don't know if this girl is legit she might be an old man"

N: "I know mom it's just I like seeing him so happy and I hate just telling him no."

M: "I know you care a lot about him but you have to think about your guy's safety. He's your best friend. I'm sure you guys will have an understanding."

N: "yeah but..why do I keep thinking about him..

M: "ur just worried hun."

N: "I do it when I'm not even worried that I don't understand these feelings.."

M: "...hm maybe you got a crush"

N: "c-crush?! On him- no way he's too much of an idiot."

M: "heh..I'm only teasing you need to worry about those feelings, worry about staying safe okay."

Nate nods and his mom grabs the brush.

M: "Now can I please do your hair? It's really a mess Nathan, how do you live like this?"

N: "I didn't care about how it looked before, just I cared now.."

M: "you should always care about ur your appearance"

N: "yeah, yeah.."

After his mother did Nate's hair she told him to get dressed and to eat some breakfast before he left. Nate really wasn't a "breakfast" person but his mom tried hard making his favorite breakfast foods even though they weren't his favorites.

He was just happy she did all this for him just to cheer him up because of how he was before. After all that Nate headed to school but before going to Cam's house they needed to talk.
