Part 7

Minutes turned into days ago then turned into weeks. Nate hasn't gotten out of bed. He just looked at how happy Cam was with Chrissy.. he wished it was just him.

He missed Cam's laugh.. his smile the way he made his blush for no reason at all. His dumbass was just what he needed..

He really just wanted to apologize; he didn't even care if it wasn't his fault or not.

Of course his mother noticed and went to talk to him.

M: "hon come on you haven't eaten anything today get out of bed."

N: "I'm not a hungry mom."

He rolled over and his mother saw Cam on his phone and sighed. She sat on the bed and saw Nate's teary face.

M: "Nathan.. tell me I'm your mother y'know.."

Nate slowly sat up and sniffed.

N: "mom I messed up.."

Nate said, tearing up more.

M: "messed up?"

N: "I fucking...lost him"

Nate turned to his phone. Picking it up showing his mother photos of Cam and Chrissy together.

N: "he picked her over me.. and we fought and I told him..I loved him.."

M: "you love him..?"

N: "loved.."

Nate sniffed.

N: "I don't even know him anymore mom.."

M: "what did he say..when you confessed."

N: "he wishes I wasn't even in his life.."

M: "oh honey.."

Nate's mom hugged him tight.

M: "shh..it's gonna be okay.."

N: "he moved away..for a few months."

M: "I promise...everything is gonna be okay. You guys will always be together. I promise he cares for you."

N: "Are you sure..?"

Nate lets go of his mothers hug and she whips his tears with her shelve.

M: "Of course ever since I saw you two dress as the same thing for Halloween each year.."

His mother sighed.

M: "I knew you two were together forever.."

Nate smiled softly.

N: "I really do hope so but this girl really changed him.."

M: "trust me honey.. he cares I'm sure he will text you during these months now come eat."

He tried hopping on his mothers words but these months felt like years to Nate not even one text him and his mother not waiting for even one text. But of course nothing.

Nate was gonna lose hope until he saw a post.

N: "Are they coming back?"

M: "really hun?"

N: "y-yeah but.."

M: "should you talk to him?"

N: "yeah.."

M: "I think you should."

N: "would he even remember me.."

M: "Of course he would remember you..I'm sure he missed you."

Nate nodded and tomorrow he would go see Cam how it will play out? Hopefully good..?
