Georgia took a deep breath before she did her best to not stutter through her story. "When we were kids, J-Jughead and I h-had bunk beds." the girl started out, looking down to her hands that were now wrapped around a warm cup of coffee. "W-We were playing when h-he tripped me and I h-hit my head on one of the corners of the b-bed." she explained which made Sweet Pea chuckle at her story. "Dad was so p-pissed." Georgia added in which in return made Fangs let out a chuckle.
"Did Georgia really just say a bad word?" Fangs teased which made Georgia roll her eyes as their food was brought to the table and placed in front of them. It wasn't until now that Georgia realized that Sweet Pea never looked at the menu for the diner like his two friends did; instead he ordered the exact same thing that she did. Fangs wasted no time before he dug into his burger and fries along with Toni. Georgia and Sweet Pea got waffles with strawberry topping and whipped cream. Georgia joined in with the two and quickly started eating her food. The conversation between the group of four started to pick up once they were starting to get full, and Georgia found herself laughing and enjoying Fang's sense of humor and his constant flow of jokes.
It wasn't before long that Georgia could feel her eyes starting to get heavy, today was a long day that took an unexpected turn. The group of three continued with their conversation as Georgia let her eyes fall closed, leaning her head against the now cold window. It only took a couple minutes before Toni looked over to the girl, noticing how she sat slumped over with her arms crossed over her chest. The girl nudged Fang's to get his attention before pointing over to Georgia which made the boy give a small half smile in return. "I think we should get queenie home," Fangs said quietly, making Sweet Pea look down to the girl beside him. Her lashes brushed the top of her cheeks, and her breathing was steady. "That's probably a good idea, Fangs and I are going to go pay for the bills. Sweet Pea, be a gentleman and wake the girl up." Toni said softly, before her and Fangs scooted out of the booth to go pay for their bills.
Sweet Pea sighed to himself before shuffling over closer towards the sleeping girl before shaking her slightly. "Hey princess," the boy said softly which made the girl grunt in response. "You have to wake up." Sweet Pea continued, giving her another soft shake before the girl's eyes fluttered open. "Hey sleepy." The boy said softly, watching as she rubbed her eyes to wake herself more. "It's time to get you out of here." the boy told her, making Georgia nod her head in response.
Sweet Pea led the way out of the booth, before leading the way out of the diner. All he could hear behind him was the unsure shuffling of feet before a small hand grabbed the back of his jacket. Sweet Pea shook his head, a small smile on his face as he pushed open the door to the diner and made sure the girl didn't fall down as she walked. His two friends were already sitting outside on their bikes waiting for the pair to make their way outside. "S-Sorry for cutting t-tonight short." Georgia said quietly, poking her head out from around Sweet Pea. Instead of the annoyed looks she expected to receive from the pair of Serpents, she received smiles in return.
"It's no problem Queenie, we should be getting home ourselves anyways." Fangs lied to the girl, not wanting her to think that they were heading out so early due to the fact that she fell asleep. Toni quickly agreed with her friend, watching as Sweet Pea put his helmet on Georgia and doing it up securly for her. "Let's get out of here, being this close to the Northside is starting to make me sick." Sweet Pea announced, sitting on his bike and quickly turning it over. Georgia sat behind him, wrapping her arms around the boy's waist and slightly resting her head against his back. "Don't go falling asleep back there." Sweet Pea told the girl, earning a nod in response before the group drove off away from the diner and back towards the run down side of Riverdale.
It didn't take them long to get to Sunnyside, Toni and Fangs heading to the Whyte Wyrm instead of their homes; and Sweet Pea pulled up in front of the trailer that they took Georgia from earlier in the night. The boy cut the engine of his bike before looking behind him to see Georgia fumbling with the helmet. "Do you need velcro or something next time?" the boy asked, standing up so he could fully face the small girl. Swiftly, Sweet Pea took the helmet off of the girl before strapping it back down to his bike. "Do you have keys?" Sweet Pea asked, noticing that there wasn't a single light on inside the trailer. So he assumed Jughead either wasn't home still or he was already asleep. "Yeah." Georgia said quietly, before digging into her jacket pocket and pulling out her set of keys.
The boy quickly took them from her hand before walking up the stairs towards the door of the trailer. He quickly unlocked the door and pushed it open by the time Georgia had even made it up the stairs. "Here, get to bed princess." Sweet Pea said quietly, handing the girl back her keys and placing his hand on the small of her back to guide her into her house. "G'night Sweet Pea." Georgia said softly, a yawn quickling following which made the boy give her a smile. "Good night, Jones." the boy replied before watching her walk into the house and heading the lock turn over once again.
Sweet Pea made his way back to his bike, turning it on and pulling out of Sunnyside before following in his friend's path and heading towards the Serpent's bar. It didn't take the boy to locate them within the bar, they were huddled together at a bar table. "So, what do you two think of her?" Toni asked once Sweet Pea took a seat with them. "She's cute," Fangs quickly replied. "I just don't know if she's cut out for a group like this." the boy added in making Sweet Pea frown his eyebrows together.
"I think we should see what the Serpent Princess has to offer." Sweet Pea voiced.
