After watching yugyeom leave the school Jungkook walked out and was waiting for Jimin in parking lot when he saw I.M. walk towards him,

"Why didn't you leave yet ?" I.M. asked and Jungkook instantly smiled at him, "I was in the library, hyung."

"Did Yugyeom leave already ?" Jungkook nodded in reply,

"Oh, then how are you going to your workplace ? do you need lift ?" Jungkook now shook his head with smile, "Hyung, don't worry. I know you always have study date with Eunwoo after school. So, you can hurry now, I'll take the bus." Jungkook declared like a responsible kid, making I.M. smile and nod his head in agreement.

And after patting Jungkook's head, the senior drove away, leaving Jungkook by himself in empty area again.

A minute passed and then the few, and soon the enough time had passed to flood Jungkook's head with the doubts and insecurity,

did i hear the day correct? Or was he going to walk with me on some other day ?

Was he even serious ? Or was it supposed to be a joke ?

Ain't I expecting way ahead of my reach ? Why would someone like him want to walk with me in first place.

Jungkook, you stupid idiot! You were really being delusional as they said !

Jungkook kept blabbering in himself, glaced around the province and the main passage last time before starting to walk away with a glum face of disappointment on himself.

Jungkook had already missed the bus that stops around his campus so he had to walk a few miles to reach to the bus stop. The journey that he began already became boring as the boy didn't even have his earphones to listen to the music along the way.

Recalling about the earphones, Jungkook had also planned to ask Jimin to give his earphones back this day, but everything went in drain when Jimin didn't even show up.

Lost in his tragic thoughts, Jungkook kept walking and walking abruptly when a hand plopped on his shoulder, making him spring on his place and almost scream with palms on heart.

"Are you deaf ? Can't you hear my call ?"

Jungkook's chest was going up and down as he aimed to clearly build the image of Jimin standing infront of him; his hair a mess as they fell and stuck on his sweaty forehead, his eyebrows creased in irritation and lips parted, taking and releasing puffs of air .

"I thought, you won't come.." Jungkook confessed guilty but more happy and relaxed than he imagined he would be.

Jimin left Jungkook's shoulder and started to walk forward, making Jungkook instantly follow him like a puppy, "I got caught up in something and ran a little late."

'a little?' Jungkook pouted as he thought in himself, only then Jimin slightly turned his head to look at smaller, "Okay, a little lot, I accept."

As Jimin admitted guilt, Jungkook slapped his palm over mouth, "Did i say it out loud ?" His muffled question reached Jimin ear and the older shook his head. As Jungkook was still walking behind Jimin, he could only watch Jimin shaking his head as if he is done, which made Jungkook feel embarrassed however, the boy failed to whitness how Jimin's lips curved into a rare smile in the process which will be a secret that Jungkook will not know anytime soon.

Even though they had barely know each other, the walk was still not awkward. The tip taps of their shoe soles on footpath, the whiffs of each other's scents as the cool breeze swayed and the spontaneous little brushes of each other's skin as they walked kept them both entertained until Jungkook decided to speak,
