Episode 2 - Detention

Mr. Kim: You two may leave now...

Author P.O.V: With that, you two picked your bags up and went to the detention room. You felt bad for him as it was his first day and he has to go to detention. The teacher taking care of you both was Mrs. Jeong. San decided to start a conversation with you but since he didn't wanna disturb the teacher, he whispered to you.

San: Y/N... Do you know a way to escape detention?

Y/N: Umm, no...

San: Oh god... Wait- One second- Do your parents get called if you are in detention?

Y/N: Duh, shouldn't the parents get an answer as to why their child returned home later than usual?

San: I know, but... We can just make an excuse, hehe...

Y/N: You could've made an excuse if your parents wouldn't get called.

San: Crap... If my parents find out that I got in trouble on my first day, I'm SCRE-

Mrs. Jeong: EXCUSE ME! I'M TRYING TO DO SOME WORK HERE! CAN YOU PLEASE KEEP QUIET?!

San: But ma-

Mrs. Jeong: No buts. If you have any work to do like homework or some pending work do it or else no need to do anything, but don't disturb me.

Y/N & San: Okay...

Author P.O.V: All of a sudden, a brilliant idea got in San's head.

San: Excuse me, Mrs. Jeong!

Mrs. Jeong: Yes?

San: What work are you doing? Maybe we can help?

Mrs. Jeong: No, thank you. And it would be better if you focused on your own work, that would help you more.

Author P.O.V: He got sad as his plan didn't work. But then he got another idea.

San: Ma'am, could we help you with... ANYTHING?

Mrs. Jeong: I already told you, NO! Even if you bri- Wait... Don't tell me that you're trying to bribe me...?

San: Uhh, yeah... I kinda was trying to do that...

Mrs. Jeong: Ugh, fine. I'll give both of you some work to do. San, go upstairs and ask Mr. Kang to give you the attendance sheet of all the classes. He's on the 3rd floor.

San: I'm on it!

Author P.O.V: He ran out of the classroom very fast.

Mrs. Jeong: And Y/N, arrange these worksheets in alphabetical order.

Y/N: Okay!

Author P.O.V: You started doing your work. A few minutes later, you finally finished arranging the worksheets. San had already arrived long before.

Y/N: Here, Mrs. Jeong.

Mrs. Jeong: Thank you, thank you both of you. For your reward, you two can go home now. We usually keep back kids in detention for a long time but since you helped me a lot, I guess you can leave for your hard work.

San & Y/N: Thank you, ma'am!

Author P.O.V: You and San picked up your bags and left the school.

Y/N: Thanks San! You really let us get out of detention quickly!

San: I know, I'm experienced in these things~

Y/N: Experienced? You have escaped detention before also?

San: Uhh- I- No- We don't have to talk about that right now...

Y/N: Hmm... Okay.

San: By the way, I'm actually kinda grateful to meet you.
