From being thrown out by her brothers, Mason and Jackson from the north side of Chicago to her grandma's home on the south side, Lillian would say that her adjustment went just fine, she switched schools and found a group of friends that accepted her the way she was. Life was good for the 16-year-old girl.

Lilian's group of friends only consisted of Ian Gallagher, and sometimes Ian's older brother Lip Gallagher. When you moved from the high life of the north side. Ian told Lillian that he was gay and was in a complicated relationship with his boss Kash who worked at the Kash N' Grab. The sometimes trio, became fast friends,  hanging out the most that they could, terrorizing whoever they could in the time they shared.

...

Lillian sat at the Gallagher table before school, Fiona was talking about the electric bill coming up and set a box on the table for collections; Lip and Ian put their share into the box and passed it to Carl who had just come down to the kitchen and plopped on one of the chairs around the table. He then passed it to Debbie who had just come down from upstairs with Liam, without putting anything in the box. Deb pulls a few dollars out of her purse and sets it in the box.

"No," Fiona announced, as she snapped her fingers, getting Carl's attention.

" You've got a Happy Meal on the front of that shirt."

Carl reluctantly pulls off the shirt, at that same time Ian pulls out a piece of paper from his pocket.

"Field Trip, I need Dad's signature." Debbie took the piece of paper from Ian's hand and signs the paper before giving it back to him.

"Arms up." Carl raises his arms above his head as Fiona slips the shirt that is now inside-out.

"That's getting good Debs," Lip said as he got a peek at the slip when Deb gave it back to Ian. He then looked over to Lillian. "Did you see it, Lill?"

"Yeah I saw it, she could become a pro at that one day, I wouldn't want you to take my identity." She smiled at Debs and ran her fingers through her hair messing up the 3rd youngest hair.

"I need something for show and tell." She smiled back at Lillian and fixed her hair.

"Mr. Yublonski left his prosthetic leg out in his yard again." Lip joked as the 11-year-old, causing Lillian to chuckle overhearing the news.

"I've got some spunky boxer shorts in my room." After finishing his sentence Fiona hits Ian on the back of the head.

"How much are we short?" The oldest nodded towards the box.

"18.30," Debs responds to her sister.

"I'm tutoring after school, should be able to kick in ten more," Lip added in.

"Payday at the store is Friday," the strawberry blonde smiles, "Carl put any in?"

Before Carl could respond, if he was going to Debbie cut in.

"No."

"You're almost twelve, you're gonna have to start chippin' in," Ian spoke out to Carl.

"A real job, not just dipping into the collection plate at St. Tims."

Fiona begins gathering the cereal and milk.

"I'm filling in for Candi again today, I can cover the rest," Fiona stated as Lillian stood up and put a twenty into the box, it was the least she could do since she was there a lot. The rest of the table looked at the girl as she did so, almost in shock.

"What are you guys looking at?" Lillian awkwardly laughs as she sits back down in the chair she occupied. The family shook off what happened and went back to what they were doing.

"Extra kraut on mine," Lip ordered.

"No onions, only relish," Ian ordered after.

"It's a day game, someone's going to have to have to stay home with Liam." Fiona looked around at everyone.

The boys grabbed the plates from the table and stood up, taking them to the sink, and began putting on jackets and grabbing backpacks.

"Calculus test and tutoring," Lip stated.

"I'm working after school," Ian responded.

Fiona looks to carl, then to everyone else at the table.

"I'll stay back and watch him," Lillian spoke as she walked from where she stood with the boys and walked over to Liam, taking him in her arms.

"Are you sure Lills?" Fiona smiles and her body relaxes as Lillian nods.

"Show and tell?" Deb asks once again.

"Debs look in my bag there might be something in there for you to take, if not then I don't know kid," Lillian stated.

Debbie goes and looks in her bag and pulls out a family picture of the Gallaghers during Christmas when Lillian first arrived in the south side and began being friends with Ian. She decides to take it with her for show and tell.

Lillian and Liam are left alone for the rest of the day.
