Special on Ground Chuck

It was coupon day in the Gallagher household. Lillian and Debbie ran around the block stealing the coupons off of the neighbor's porch. After retrieving them, they went back to the house. Lip, Debs, and Lillian surrounded the table cutting them out. Ian walked into the house with milk and other dairy products. 

"Special delivery." Ian proudly stated and set the milk on the table, he was leaving again.

"Don't forget V's coupons," Debs spoke as he was walking out of the door. 

Fiona came down the stairs with Liam in her arms, she went to grab the mail and walked into the kitchen, setting Liam down in his highchair. 

"Hey, buddy," Lip said to his youngest brother and clicked the tray into the highchair. 

Fiona began diving into the mail. 

"Pop-tarts, Frosted Flakes, Bisquick, even have a two for one on the tide," Debbie said to the family. 

"Any coupons for meat?" Ian asked as he grabbed a glass of his orange juice. 

"Yeah, they've got a special on-ground chuck at Costco and Hot Pockets," Debbie responded to her brother. 

"That's great. We'll go tomorrow." Fiona said to Debbie as she looked at Lillian who responded in response. She supplied the Costco card. 

"Lip, you saw Frank?" Fiona asked her brother. 

"Uh, no." 

"Lilly?" Fiona shifted her gaze to her. 

"Nope."

While Steve and Kevin went to go get Frank back, Lip was in the kitchen helping Lillian study for an exam that she had coming up, Fiona is doing the dishes from dinner. 

"Can you help me with this problem?" Lillian looked over to Lip, as he looked over to her then at the piece of paper she pointed to. To his surprise there wasn't anything on the paper, he looked back up to stare at her again, she returned that look with a smile, then the middle finger, causing her to giggle. 

The truth is Lip always subconsciously thought that Lillian was pretty, and when he first met her, he would have been down to fuck if she gave him the chance. In some ways, he was open about it, but never flat out told her that he'd do it in a heartbeat if she asked. After all, Lip just started seeing Karen and thought things between them were cool, whenever he would 'tutor' her she gave him a blow job, or they would fuck. But he never really asked Karen if they were exclusively seeing each other, and he didn't feel the need to. Plus she was fun to hang out with.

There was a knock on the back door, Lip stood up from his seat to open the door, Tony Moore walked in with his hat in his hand and walked over to where Lip then took a seat. Tony tapped on Lips' shoulder to get his attention and nodded to get him and Lillian out of the room.

"Let's go study in my room Lills." Lip and Lillian stood from their seats, grabbed their belongings, and headed up the wooden hill to Lip's shared room. 

Both Lillian and Lip sat on Lip's bed books in their laps. 

"So you and Karen huh?" Lillian looked at Lip through her eyelashes. 

"Uh, yeah." Lip looked at Lillian, then right back down at his calculus textbook.

"I'm. Happy for you." Lillian giggled nervously. 

"Yeah, thanks, hey Lills?" Lip looked back up at the girl sitting next to him. 

"Yeah?" She looked back at him. 

"I'm sorry for what you saw when I asked you to come with me that day." 

"Yeah, yeah, I guess it's cool. Gross, but cool." She shrugged then shoved her shoulder into his.

The family and Karen were all in the living room, watching what was on the TV.  Lillian and Ian somehow comfortable squeezed into a chair together and she began playing with his hair. Lip and Karen sat in the chair next to them, his arm dropped over her shoulders, both had a beer. On the couch it sat Kev and V, they were cuddled up to one another, Fiona and Carl, Carl had lice, so Fi was picking through his hair with a comb. Then lastly Debbie had Liam in her lap and was paying attention to the TV.
