(Alfie's POV)

I stepped back into the center of Tyler's room, pulling the slider door of the bedroom behind me. I pressed my hand to my head, which was pounding in pain. I darted my eyes across the room, trying to get an idea of what was happening. A party-of course.

That was the only way to get away from your problems, right? To just party it off?
Drink your cares away, maybe hook up with a stranger, beat the shit out of your ex-girlfriend's boyfriend, show up high at breakfast, and create absolute chaos in the lives of everyone you care about.
Just party it off.

Zoe ran up to me, giving me a tight hug.
"You're awake! God, i was so worried!"

I barely hugged her back, a small smile on my face.

"You alright?" Zoe asked, looking up at me. I looked directly into her eyes.
Her bright, gorgeous blue eyes...

"Of course he's alright."
Caspar said, now standing beside zoe with his arms crossed. His face was completely black and blue and almost disfigured. I gulped, refusing to make eye contact with him.

"Yeah, Alfie's just peachy, isn't he? I mean, he took a nice nap. He didn't have to deal with all the screaming, didn't have to pull Marcus out of the room and practically kick him out of the group, didn't have to see any of the blood leaking out of Troye's face...hell, he probably didn't notice the blood leaking out of mine. Alfie's just fine, right?"
Caspar stared directly at me. I shifted my eyes, avoiding his gaze. I pushed past Zoe, but Caspar blocked me from leaving.
He stood stiffly in front of me, refusing to move and let me pass.

"Caspar..." Zoe muttered.

He huffed, then stepped out of my way.

I continued to make my way through the room, each person I walked past giving me a glare.

There were a couple girls and a boy i didn't recognize who were dancing around with the rest of us, but i was far too shaken up to really notice or question it. I headed for the door, leaving the room for some fresh air. I leaned against the wall of the narrow hallway, resting my eyes for a moment.

"Hey."

I recognized the voice immediatly. My eyes sprung open, and I stepped away from the wall, no longer relying on it's constant sturdiness to keep me propped up.

Amanda.

She smirked at me, grabbing my hands in hers and staring at me with her narrow green eyes. Her lips were toned in the same shade of magenta as the one she wore when we first met.

"Amanda...what are you doing here?"

"I came to visit you!"

I looked away, taking a deep breath through my nostrils and running my fingers through my hair. She pulled her hands away from mine.

"Something wrong?" She asked, folding her arms and looking at me with a face that seemed more insulted than concerned.

"Yeah," i chuckled, "something's very, very wrong, Amanda."

She looked past my shoulder and over to the door of Tyler's room, now hearing the faint sound of obnoxious pop music blasting from his loud speakers.

She looked at my chest for a moment, as if she were thinking of something.

"I'm gonna fix this." She said, slightly nodding. She headed for Tyler's room.

"Amanda, please don't," but it was too late.

I sighed, leaning against the wall for a moment.
I turned around and gave the wall a forceful kick.

What was I supposed to do?
