(Dan's POV)
11:59 pm

"Hey dan, looks like you'll get a new year's kiss!" Jenna shouted at me, gesturing to the countdown on TV.
58, 57, 56

I chuckle at jenna's comment and twirl the bottle, hoping for anyone, anyone at all, besides the certain blue eyed emo haired 27 year old who was sitting to my right.

But of course, being the incredibly unfortunate person I am, the bottle points directly to none other than Phil Lester. I look down at the bottle, then up to Phil. We stare blankly at eachother, he blinks.
48, 47, 46,

"Um... I don't know if I'm really comfortable with-"
Jenna cuts me off. It's not that I didn't want to kiss phil, I just didn't want to after the incident, and i especially didn't want to in front of 16 people i hardly knew.

"Oh, don't be such a pussy! Kiss him!"

I raised an eyebrow at Phil, who refused to meet my gaze.
40, 39, 38,

Phil looks up, finally saying something.
"Yeah, yeah it's whatever. Let's just do it."
He stuttered. I raise my eyebrows, my eyes wide in shock. Did he really want to do this?

Jenna chimed back in
"Sometime today?Its not like you're fucking him. Just kiss him for christ's sake."

"Don't make them do anything they don't want to, Jenna." Troye joins the conversation, holding his hands out as if calming things down. I wanted to yell at them all to shut up, because all they were doing was making things more awkward.
26, 25, 24,

"Cmon, tons of guys have already kissed, just do it for fuck's sake!" Marcus exclaims.

"Marcus! Don't pressure them like that!" Niomi says, slapping his leg.

"Yeah, don't stress it guys." Connor agrees.

"We're playing spin the bottle! They have to! I didn't wanna kiss Shane but I did it." Joey argues. I look over at Shane, who's body sinks and smile melts. Ouch.

"But it's their choice. If they don't want to kiss, they don't have to!" Grace joins.
The whole room brakes out into an over-dramatic shit storm about whether I should make out with my best friend. I couldn't take it any longer.
10, 9, 8

I smash my lips into Phil's with more force than I intended, one hand pulling him toward me by his shirt and the other on the side of his face. At first schocked, Phil's eyes were wide open, but as the kiss continued, he closed his eyes and gave in.
6, 5, 4 His lips were incredibly soft, and I could taste the mouthwash he had insisted on using before going out tonight. But no alchohol. About 3/4 through the kiss, i grin, knowing that it took no alcohol for Phil Lester to be perfectly comfortable kissing me.
We pull apart, smiling at eachother.
3, 2, 1.
