Selene creaks open the door as she trudges inside the house.

"Welcome back!" A voice calls from the kitchen and it's easy to locate Selene's sister sitting at the counter. "How was class?"

"It was fine. I thought you had dance on Tuesdays?" Selene answers and follows the voice into the kitchen.

"I had a break between class and practice so here I am," Cat responds, watching as Selene goes into the pantry and returns with a snack. "Anything interesting today?"

"Well," Selene pauses as she looks at the other girl, "I changed my major."

"Again?" Selene deadpans at Cat's response and begins to walk away to her room. "Wait! Selene!" Cat rushes to catch up to the younger girl. "I'm sorry, that was insensitive. What did you change it to?"

"Public Relations," Selene sighs and finally looks Cat in the eye, "Don't you have somewhere to be right about now?" Cat looks at her phone to confirm the time before making her way back to the kitchen.

"I want to hear more about your new major when I'm done though! Okay, See?" Cat calls after grabbing her belongings and walking out the door. Selene watches as she leaves and lets out another sigh as she walks to her room. Cat wasn't wrong. She had changed her major four times in her (almost) two years in college. There were just so many options and she had no idea what she wanted to do later in life. Especially compared to the others. Cat has known since middle school that she wants to be a doctor and Meg has known even longer that she wants to go into psychology. Mia already got her associate's degree in business and Sarah has worked at the airport for years now. Selene felt like the only one who didn't know what she was doing with her life. The girl dropped her bag on the floor and fell onto the bed.

"What am I even supposed to do, Bandit?" Selene says as she feels the paws of her cat walk across the back of her legs. The black and white cat just stares at Selene before sitting down right in the middle of her back. "Bandit!" Selene whines but instead of moving he decides to lay down and responds with a loud meow. She sighs once again and looks to the door just in time to see two more animals peek inside. "Hey Piper, hey Halo." She says and the two Pitbulls barrel into the room to greet the girl, also convincing Bandit to vacate his spot on her back.

"Anyone home?" A call comes from the entrance and Piper runs from the room to greet her mom with Halo just trailing behind her.

"I'm here!" Selene calls back. Footsteps sound as Mia makes her way to Selene's room and flops on the bed next to her. "How was work?"

"Work was good. Same old same old," Mia says as Piper and Halo join them on the bed. "What about you?"

"Good. Changed my major. Again." Selene buries her face in the covers again and groans. "I just can't decide."

"That's okay. These are life decisions so they take time." Mia responds as Piper nestles in her lap.

"Well, the rest of you guys know what you're going to do! It's just me that's lost." Selene turns her head to speak properly to the other.

"Oh please! I work part-time at a retail store and do odd jobs for marketing. I'm barely keeping it together babe." Mia laughs.

"Yeah, the part-time manager at a retail store and those odd jobs pay like $100 an hour. You and Sarah are the breadwinners of the house." Selene scoffs and Mia reaches over to flick her forehead. Mia goes to say something else before she is loudly interrupted.

"I'm so hungry!" Sarah yells as she kicks open the door to Selene's room, the loud noise causing Bandit to stumble off the bed. The three girls watch as the cat stands, stares at each one, and walks out of the room. "Anyways... What do y'all want to eat?"
