Just a little closer. If only this step stool had one more step. Mia just couldn't quite reach the top of the curtain no matter how much she stretched.

"I got it, Mia." Selene comes behind the shorter girl and plucks the streamer out of her hands, stifling laughter at the smaller, but older girl's trouble. Selene may be the youngest, but she had all her friends beat when it came to the height department.

"Thanks See," Mia smiles, unaware of the younger girl's fun, as she makes way for her to put up the green party decoration. She turns to take in the rest of the room and is reminded of her time in the club. A splash of green everywhere. Well, they were throwing a little surprise party for Cat after all. Since Selene and Meg couldn't join the other three at the club the other day, they wanted to throw a more intimate party for the close-knit group. Plus, Cat didn't drink near enough for a proper twenty-first birthday and even ended up taking care of her friends to an extent. They were going to get her as far gone as was non-life-threatening.

"Has she moved from the school yet?" Sarah asks as soon as she puts the finishing touches to the mini-bar they had set up. They're going to be finding confetti in this house until they move out given the amount they were using just in this one event.

Meg pulls her phone out of her pocket and checks Cat's location, "Not yet but she should be leaving soon. She said dance would take three or four hours and it's already been three and a half," Meg recites as she puts her phone back in her pocket, nervous for the wait to come and joins Mia in the center of the room.

"Are we done with all the decorations?" Selene questions as she carries the stool from the window and stands in the center of their living area. She always thought it was convenient that there wasn't a wall separating the living, dining, and kitchen area and made it especially great for throwing celebrations. The only obstacles were the kitchen island that separated the kitchen and dining room and the sofa for the kitchen and living room. Plus, no animals around to trip over since they were put in their owner's bedrooms. Some of those animals have no survival skills and will attempt to eat any decoration that's small enough.

"I don't think there's anything left?" Mia turns to take in the room once again. Steamers, balloons, confetti, drinks, snacks, and everyone in a splash of cute and comfortable green.

"Yeah, it looks like we're properly St. Patrick's Day themed," Meg says as she pulls her phone out once again. "She's moving!"

"Surprise!"

The shouts cause Cat to jump, "Shit!" she exclaims, barely making it into the door before being given a near heart attack. Not to mention it almost causing her to drop her phone. "What is this?" She says as she looks at her friends before taking notice of the fully decorated room.

"Since we didn't get to celebrate with Meg and Selene on Thursday, we thought we'd have a continuation here!" Sarah cheers as she and Meg each grab one of Cat's arms and begin to drag her, bags and all, towards the hallway leading to all the bedrooms.

"Plus, you didn't drink near enough on Thursday," Mia mentions as she pushes Cat's back, also moving her towards the hallway.

"Oh so this is a slightly more illegal version of Thursday." Cat laughs, sliding all her bags off and onto the floor, slowly letting her friends push her wherever it is they were going. "Where are y'all taking me anyways?"

"We picked something out for you to wear so we're going to get you changed, take some pictures, and then see who can get the drunkest, the fastest," Selene calls from behind, grabbing Cat's stuff from the floor and depositing it on the kitchen table.
