// One small battle of the bands later

Y/N POV

"Not bad, not bad, for a amature" Gwen said grinning ear to ear "It wasn't so bad for a band that just got together, what? thirty minutes ago?" I defended myself and the boys "You boys were completely out of sync, but, there still potential there." she continued teasing, as I was picking the books needed for the next class, I chuckled "Ok, ok, I admit we were a bit bad, me, I'm not the best out there, I did this more for fun than anything back home". Gwen crossed her arms, leaning against the lockers "You know I could teach you if you want" she proposed "Uhm, really? Well, sure why not" Gwen beamed as I realized I falled into some kind of trap of hers "Ok, but the price for your lessons are ... corn dogs! You buy them and when we both have free time I can teach you" I hold back a chuckle "You don't think you may be a bit addicted to corn dogs?" she faked offense "You leave me and my corn dog addiction alone mister" she tried to hold back her laugh but it didn't last much, I soon joined "By the way, how are you settling in? Found some kind of home? And a way to make money, those corn dogs ain't going to pay themselves" She inquired about changing subjects. I gestured for us to move to the next class, "As good as feasibly possible I think, I still having problem finding stuff given that you guys named everything wrong here" Gwen interjected "Pretty sure you guys name stuff wrong in your universe" I smirked "Tell me again which dimension has human sized air vents?" I countered "Point taken" she said letting out a chuckle "For the money bit, you guys have a similar share market than the one back home, so I just invested the little money I had. It helps that I have a super A.I. as a friend" I said getting a questioning look from Gwen "Your not stealing are you?" I chuckled "More like cheating, but no, all by the law, I just have an advantage on knowing the probability of things" she looked at me with a smirk "Ok, warn me if you become a millionaire. And what about housing?" she asked "As for housing, I've been jumping from Shield safehouse to Shield safe house, don't really have any money yet to rent someplace" I continued "Just be careful, Shield here is way more harsh than the one in your dimension and if you need some place to crash my place is always a option, I'm sure we can come up with some excuse" she offered "Thanks Gwen, but think is going to be hard to explain the new vigilant appearing at your home for a nap, besides you want a repeat of the couple thing that happened in Miles dimension?" I thanked her but teased at the same time "Har har, very funny you ass" she said punching me lightly on the arm "Speaking of the new vigilant, how is the armor? Last time I looked it wasn't looking too good" I let out a sigh at her question "More or less it took quite a beating during the last fight with Fisk and Shield's safehouses are not as well equipped as I thought, by the looks of it I lucked out back in Miles dimension" Gwen placed a hand on her chin as she started to ponder "Well, I think we could go to Wasp, she is the one that helped me built my web shooters" uhm, at least one thing is similar, Janet still is a good person "Sounds like a plan, so after school?" Gwen nodded.

As we were getting close to our classroom I was suddenly shoved onto the lookers by someone "Well, well, look who we have here, a new nerd in school" I looked to the source of the voice, a build up teen, maybe on his seventeens or eighteens, with a jacket of Midtown high football team "What the hell Flash!" I heard Gwen shout, I shook my head 'Great, Flash, of course had to be Flash' I looked at Flash, Gwen was between me and him and his friends "Gwen, it's alright, I've got this" Gwen looked at me "You sure?" I nodded "So what do you want Flash?" I questioned the bully while reading myself for a possible fight. I might not be in my suit, but that didn't mean I wasn't used to picking fights without it. "I'm just to make sure you know who is in charge here and that all new nerds have a fee to pay up..." I chuckled mid way through his little speech "How about no. Look, just go your way and I go mine and nobody has to get hurt, you want to be the macho man, so be it, no need to be a jerk about it though" I cut his speech short and started to walk away "Hey! I'm not finished!" Flash said, I ignored continuing my way with Gwen following, I kept an eye out to see he was going to do something stupid with any luck this Flash is the same way from the one back home and just showing your not intimidated is enough to deescalete the situation. Of course I wasn't going to be so lucky as I noticed Flash charging at me, well at least this makes thing easy, I side stepped him using his momentum to make him trip and fall face first on the ground I decide to end it right here right now as I kicked him in the balls with all my strength, that had the desired effect, Flash was out of the fight squirming on the ground. "Told you to just drop it Flash" I looked at his buddies "You guys want some too?" they shook their head 'Tipical, the leader bully goes down his buddies flee' I sighed turning around to finally enter the classroom "Not bad, but you know Flash won't give up, he is stubborn" Gwen said as we took our seats "Good thing I'm also stubborn" I said giving her a smile.
