Chapter 6

After a while I felt Mikhail letting go.

"I have to go, see you.", he whispered and vanished.

I snuggled up closer to Azi's neck, placing my now free hand on his cheek.

"Let's go somewhere save.", he whispered and teleported us to his house on earth.

"Are you hungry?", he asked, and I just nodded.

He got out of the bed in which he placed us, to get food, I wrapped myself in my wings again until he came back.

"Here you go, got some cookies and hot chocolate. Hope you like it.", he handed me the cup and plate.

It was delicious, I really enjoyed it. While I ate, he sat next to me and I shared the snack with him, after I finished, I hid myself behind the wings again.

"Can I hug you? You don't have to open.", I just looked at him.

"You're cold I can see you're shaking.", he said.

I opened my wings crawled back in his arms, which apparently surprised him a bit, I felt his wings over mine, warming both of us.

"Don't let me go.", I whispered and pulled him closer.

"Promise.", he also pulled up the warm fluffy blanket.

Without asking or hesitation I kissed his cheek, blushing immediately.

He touched my neck, kissing my cheek softly, then my neck, he slid his hand under my shirt, going up and down my spine, his warm and soft fingertips gave me shivers, I felt how the feathers of my wings puffed up, I bit my lip and held my breath, his touch made me feel save, I trusted him. He slightly brushed my lips with his, and without thinking I pulled his face closer and kissed him back.

"Can I ask you something?", he ignored my action.

"What is it?"

"How do I ask without seeming rude....?"

"You're an angel, I doubt you can be rude."

"After what happened, I thought you would be more distant than before.....more scared of being touched....why not now? And why are you scared to be touched anyway?"

"Didn't think you would ask that.....well I don't know, maybe I wanted to protect myself, I'm not scared of being touched, I just don't like to get touched by strangers, especially at my shows, they all want the same, I actually like cuddling and stuff but only if I agree and am ready for it."

"Okay....protect you from what?"

"Strangers using me, mostly, but also betrayal, it's way easier to trust if you're close and intimate, and some beings use that for their will, that's how I fell, I trusted and got betrayed, they blamed me and I couldn't prove it wasn't me."

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay, we both can't change the past."

"But still, why are you so intimate now, after what happened?"

"I've known you, you and Mikhail are my friends, I know you enough to be sure you wouldn't betray me, and I needed someone to cry out, someone who protects me.", I smiled and wrapped myself around him.

"I hope you wouldn't say that."

"What do you mean?"

"The ones who told me to spy on hell....."

"Yeah?"

"They said I should spy on you....they told me you betrayed heaven."

"What?", I asked in shock, not believing my ears.

"The big danger....."

"They said the danger was me?!"

"Yeah."

"But you said no when I asked you?!", I cried.

"I'm sorry. I was undercover."

"Everything was a lie?!"

"At the beginning....but believe me the more time we spent together..."

"You seriously expect me to believe you after you tell me you spied on me?!"

"Please, I didn't know it was you, Malook! As soon as I found out I stopped giving them information!"

"So, you told them I wanted to help you?!"

"Yeah."

"Unbelievable! I trusted you! I can't believe it, I fell for the same trick again!"

"I didn't want you to find out yourself later, thinking I would lie to you, that's why I told you."

"I sold my f*cking body to save your ass! And you wanted to get rid of me!"

"I know."

"You know what? F*ck off!", I said and teleported back to my house.

I couldn't believe I trusted him, I felt save, he is more of a demon than I am.

Why am I such a pathetic idiot?! Why?! I felt the power rising in my body, I felt strong, I wasn't weak, I was stronger than ever! I saw my reflection in the window, my eyes glowing in a flaming dark red, my antlers twice the size than before, fangs replaced my teeth, and my wings open in their full glory, my whole body surrounded by black fog.

"You will regret betraying and using me.", I said to myself, jumping out of the window, I didn't fly since ages, but now, the time was right to show them what I was capable of.

I started using my magic and spells, everyone should know my true self.
