Tris POV
I took a moment to gather myself before following Levi out the front door. He was getting into his red Wrangler when I stepped out on the porch. "Levi!" He stopped mid-way in the door looking at me with such intensity that I couldn't determine if it was anger, sadness, happiness, none or all. I jog to him hearing the front door open, but not bothering to look back.
"What is it babe?" I sigh feeling relief at the sound of his calm voice.
"Levi...I..I don't know what just happened." I could feel my nerves shaking my insides up.
"I do babe." He paused looking over the top of the door to the porch. "I'd say we need to talk, but truth is, there really isn't much for either of us to say."
I felt my bottom lip quiver. "I don't want to lose you and I didn't want to hurt you."
He pulled me to him and I buried my face in the crook of his neck taking in his striking smell. He moved his lips in my hair, "You aren't ever going to lose me Tris. And shit baby seeing that back there did fucking hurt. I'm not going to lie, but we both know it hurt because it's just the seal on this whole goodbye. Realization usually feels like a two by four connecting with your temple." He chuckled softly. "We will always have the coffee shop." He pushed me back and lifted my chin, "Life is too short to run from the one's you love." He pushed his forehead to mine and I thought I saw small pools dissolve back into his eyes. "Stop running Tris." He kissed me softly. He didn't lick my bottom lip asking for entrance like he normally did. No he just placed his lips on mine and pulled away before setting them against my forehead. This was our goodbye. He sat up into his seat and I moved to let him shut the door.
I placed my hand on the window and he matched my move. The heat from our palms met through the glass and he gave me that smile, the smile that would be some girls very weakness one day. We dropped his hand and started the Jeep placing it in reverse. And as quick and quietly he came into my life, he was gone.
I turned around to walk back up the driveway when his tall figure stepped down from the porch. He leaned against the wooden column with his arms crossed at his chest showing off the massive definition of his muscles. "We should talk."
I nodded my head in response. "I'll be right out after I let Chris know."
"I already did. Come on." He walks pass me and I take in his lack of emotion. A minute goes by and finally I make my steps in following him to his car.

Tobias POV
I drive us to my place in silence, drumming my left foot against the floorboard out of...nervous excitement. I have probably opened my mouth to say something to her only to shut it out of blank thought about a hundred times in the pass ten minutes. Making the last turn I see my driveway and hit the garage door to open.
"This is your place?" She starred wide-eyed at the (what some wold say) massive size of my house.
"Mine and Zeke's." I get out not bothering to open her door for her because by the time I have got to the front of the car she shuts her door. "Come on." We step through the threshold and I lead her to the basement level where our minibar waits.
She sits on one of the bar stools taking in everything around her. I saw her eyes start at the sixty-five inch flat screen then head towards the pool table. I decided to take advantage of her absorbed distractions and drink in the sight of her once more. Her skin, her legs, her thighs, her hands, her lips..."Tobias." I gasped inward. My name on her tongue was the closest thing to heaven in this life of hell.
