14: Dosed
Delia had to admit when she agreed to help Maddie move she thought there was going to be more than this. Delia was a strong woman, but Maddie insisted that the women boss around the boys, and Delia, couldn't help but laugh, while she loved her boys, their sense of direction was flawed and they could use a little guidance to help them along the way.
"Okay, you've officially reached Fort Knox-level security."
"Oh, you think it's too much?"
"Three motion sensors in the living room? I mean, maybe if you're trying to keep Tom Cruise from getting his hands on your NOC list." Chim comments as Maddie just stares at him blankly.
"Mission: Impossible. No?"
"Sorry, I haven't seen it."
"I thought you said you've been hanging out with her." Chim turns to Delia who is mounting the tv in Maddie's living room.
"We have been hanging out, just because she hasn't seen Mission Impossible, doesn't mean we aren't having fun."
"Your version of fun and my version of fun have changed drastically." He sighs as Delia shakes her head at him using the level on the tv to make sure it was perfect. Maddie walks back inside with a few pizza boxes smiling warmly at Chim and Delia can't help but smile at how cute they are.
" Okay. I'm sorry. You were showing me the security app."
"All right, pivot." Eddie grunts as they try to get Maddie's new couch inside. Delia laughs thinking back to that moment with friends.
" Okay, so, basically, you can check everything on here. Lift with your legs. And you can also check it on your phone if you're not at home."
" That's great 'cause now if I hear a noise in the middle of the night, I don't have to get out of bed to know it's the ice maker." Delia gets the Tv mounted and takes a step back admiring her work when Eddie and Buck get the couch inside causing her to trip into Buck's arms. He smiles at her and she shakes her head at him. "Hey, thank you, guys, for helping me on your day off."
"Don't worry about it. Plates?" Eddie takes the pizza from their hands and walks to the kitchen.
"Countertop.Kitchen."
" Beer?"
" Uh, also a kitchen, fridge."
"Chim, can you get me sparkling water,"
